Up For Sale My 1972 De Tomaso Pantera.I"ve Owned This Pantera For 34 Years.
The speedometer reads 24,409, ut actual reading is 42,409. In 1980 (07-10-1980) the Ford Dealer installed a New speedometer, ith a sticker on drivers door jamb which reads, dd 18,073 to the reading. I have the original sticker in my registration folder.
As with many other Pantera owners, added up dates to my car first of which was an outside fuel filler door and related parts, oses, 973 engine screen, nd other needed parts. Also added S/S coolant pipes, anks, oses, lamps, adiator, arge fans with 50 Amp relays with coolant sensors. Replace A/C compressor with a Sanden (508 compressor) new hoses, xpansion valve, eceiver drier, nd fittings with R-134 freon. I re-built the brake calipers, nstalled with a new master/cylinder, rake pads, /S frt. and rear brake hoses and new fluid. Powdered coated front suspension complete, owder coated frt. stabilizer, nstalled new a- arm bushings, ront and rear. Removed the rack and pinion, nstalled with new bronze bushing, leaned and check bearing, nstalled new tie rods, oots and fluid, ligned front end. Installed new Koni shocks, ew springs front and rear, ith New 17" inch rims, ith new Kumho tyres,315x35x ZR 17 rears, ith 245x40 ZR 17 fronts.
The interior is all original, xcept the floor carpet witch was replaced. New floor mats, oloured red to match the car. Other mods to many to list. I had the wing installed in 1983, ot for everyone, ut works for me at the time, like it.My Pantera is not a show car, ut a great driver.
I"ve kept this car well maintained through all these years, hat I have owned this car.
