1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

Offered for sale is a Fine 1962 Alfa Romeo 101 Spider. Ground up Restoration completed in late 2009. Since then it has been used for weekend drives and the occasional Trackday. Street legal and updated for spirited Trackday Drives. Full Appraisal completed in 2010 and available for review. This Spider has been shown often at AROC meets as well as the Concorso Italiano in Monterey. The best way to appreciate this car is to come inspect and test drive it. Engine:2 liter aluminum block bored 40 over, 2.5:1 Compression. Custom rods, istons, uilt by Wes Ingram WA. stage 3 race head.Built by Steve Hanaford WA. Accusump oil system. Race prepped oil pump and windage tray. Dual 45mm Weber Carburetors with custom spacers to improve power output. Available from Alfa Romeo Vintage Racing. Tuned and dyno'd with 200+hp. 7000rpm shift. Carbon Metallic pads, anual bias and stainless lines.Wheels and tires: Pana Sport 15x6 wheels glass beaded and powder coated clear for a unique natural finish. Wheels are mounted with Toyo R888 race tiresChassis: Race upgrades include, ustom floor pans, runk pan, ransmission tunnel, ill plates, riveline loops, ub frame connectors and chrome moly roll bar. All components were added to stiffen the unibody construction and improve the structural integrity of the car.Bodywork:Body was stripped to bare metal and all problem areas replace with new hand worked metal. All pinch welds were removed and smoothed to enhance the fine Italian lines. Front grill area was simplified to remove weight and smooth the lines. Rear bumper removed, icense plate recessed into the deck lid. The interior dash was smoothed and Lexan front windscreens added.Interior: Custom Procar vintage race seats covered with saddle ultra leather.
