Description

1958 Rambler Rebel 4 door, V-8. The car as been sitting for two years, but previously ran. Mechanically the car is in good shape. It needs a carburetor or carb rebuild, and it will be running in no time. This car is a 250 CI V-8 (4.1L). It has a push button Hydra-matic automatic transmission that functions well. It has custom dual exhaust. It could use some brakes as it pulls to the right a bit. Cosmetically the body is straight, with minimal rust. The floors are solid as all the panels. There is spot of rust on the top of the passenger right fender about the size of .50 cent piece. Other then that, there is very little rust. The previous owner put Chevy wheel adapters and black Cragar mags on the car. There is some minor dry rot on the tires. The interior is decent shape. A carpet kit was installed within the last few years. The rear door panels will need repaired, and and there is no headliner, but the rest of interior is good. The exterior paint looks good. All the trim is there as well. This is a nice car. Please email me with any questions.

REVISED: 1958 Rambler Rebel Custom4 door, V-8. The car as been sitting for two years, but previously ran. Mechanically the car is in good shape. It needs a carburetor or carb rebuild, and it will be running in no time. This car is a 250 CI V-8 (4.1L). It has a push button Flash-a-matic automatic transmission that functions well. It has custom dual exhaust. It could use some brakes as it pulls to the right a bit. The original air filter canister is in the trunk (see pics) Cosmetically the body is straight, with minimal rust. The floors are solid as all the panels. There is spot of rust on the top of the passenger right fender about the size of .50 cent piece. Other then that, there is very little rust. The previous owner put Chevy wheel adapters and black Cragar mags on the car. There is some minor dry rot on the tires. The interior isdecent shape. However, the front seat has is badly torn with stuffingexposes. It has a really nice seat coverfitted over it, so that as first I didn't notice. Due to this over site, I am lowering the reserveprice. My apologies for the misinformation. The rear seat has some tears. See pics please. A carpet kit was installed within the last few years. The rear door panels will need repaired, and and there is no headliner. The exterior paint looks good. All the trim is there as well. I am including a original tech manual, and a specs seat. Also some brand new after market under dash, gauges that were never installed. This is a nice car. Please email me with any questions
