Please email/message me with offers/questions if you are interested.I am extremely confident that you are not going to find another stock B6 S4 that looks or rides like this one.PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO PURCHASE. PLEASE HAVE FINANCING SECURED (IF NECESSARY) BEFORE BIDDING.
I have zero qualms about anyone flying down to Dallas and driving this car cross-country back home. It is in absolutely fantastic visual and driving condition. Most, f not all, f the items listed below that have repaired are common fault points and items that will need to be addressed in nearly any B6 S4. Honestly, ou can bite the bullet and repair these issues in a different S4 at some point down the line (because you unavoidably will) or purchase this one with the peace of mind of knowing it has been properly cared for.
I can provide more updated pictures, ut know the car is still in the exact same condition as only 1,000 miles have been put on it in this time frame.
Up for sale is a 2004 "Noggy Noggy" Audi S4. If you are not aware, 6 S4's are hard to come by and this car is VERY RARE in this color combination. I am the 4th owner of this car and have owned it since July 2012. I am not in need of selling this car, ut putting feelers out there. I have only put approximately 12,000 miles on the car in the 2+ years I have owned it, ost of which was highway driving. I have invested a significant amount of money (about $11,000 in repairs and maintenance) keeping this car in superb mechanical condition. It is as turn-key and drive as you will find for a stock B6 S4. All work has been performed by Autoscope Park Cities which, f you are aware of Dallas auto repair shops, s one of top Euro repair centers in the DFW Metroplex. Work is described below. If you are serious about the vehicle, will let you get in touch with Autoscope and they can provide you much greater detail on the condition of the car and the work that has been done. I have a copy of all the service records while I owned the car. I will continue to drive the car about twice a week until it sells, o the mileage will creep up a bit (about 80 miles a week, f that).
The car was in a front end collision with the second owner on 08/20/07.It was also involved in another "collision" with me in October 2013. The front and rear bumpers were repainted at this time by Audi Dallas. I put that in quotations because while it is reported on the Autocheck, he damage itself was only to the paint on the front bumper (an absolute imbecile put his truck in reverse, n the highway no less, nd backed into me). There was no structural damage from this incident. The rear bumper also had previous (slight) paint damage from a license plate from careless parallel parkers. All told, he damage was very negligible and could be likened to scratches from a shopping cart in a parking lot; the last two images detail the extent of damage that was done to the paint of both bumpers. At the time of the repair, udi Dallas replaced some nuts/bolts/brackets for the front bumper even though it was not necessary. They also replaced the driver side headlight, hich had a scratch on it (not from this incident and prior to my ownership).
This car was a Florida/North Carolina vehicle prior to my ownership after its initial sale. The first accident being reported on the Autocheck on 2/14/06 in California is not represented on the Carfax (which I can provide) as the vehicle had been in Florida for nearly two years at this time. This is more than likely a mistake as the probability of an accident being reported 2 years later (in a different state) is extremely remote. In discussions with the previous (3rd) owner, his car was only in one accident (08/20/07), hich was satisfactorily repaired. Regarding the frame or unibody damage on the Autocheck, HAT IS NOT EXISTENT. You are more than welcome to have the vehicle inspected to verify this. Please note that a vehicle being reported with frame damage at an auction is routine as the seller does not want the buyer to have recourse to return a vehicle that has some sort of damage, EGARDLESS OF HOW MINOR IT IS. I actually have an auction license and have witnessed this first hand. I am being as honest as possible with this car, s noted by the detail I've described below. Please reference this link for more information:http://www.ebay.com/gds/Frame-damage-uniframe-or-unibody-damage-autocheck-/10000000018463312/g.html
All told, he car is in above average condition (both the interior and exterior) for being 10+ years old. Car is hand-washed and waxed (with an interior detail) every 2-3 weeks. It will come with a NEW Covercraft Noah Car Cover which cost over $250 (warranty replacement of the one in the pictures).
The work done to the car in my ownership is detailed below:
• Oil has been replaced every 4,000 miles. Oil consumption was approximately 1qt every 3,500 miles (normal for this engine), ut I have not noticed any consumption after the VCG's were replaced in April 2014 (about 3,800 miles put on it since then). Oil was changed approximately every 5,000 miles with prior owners based on the CarFax and my conversations with the third owner.
• Compression and leak-down tests performed by Autoscope in August 2012 when I originally serviced the car showed no issues and all cylinders tested within spec for compression. We saw nothing that warranted any work related to the timing system. The motor itself is healthy and transmission shifts smooth and in better condition today than when I originally purchased it.
• Repainted front and rear bumpers (blended to fenders). There are no license plate holes in the front bumper.
• Rims have been refinished to repair curb rash from prior ownership. There is no damage to any rim or tire.
• Tint is 20%/15%/5%, o the next owner will likely have to replace it to make it legal again (I have a medical exemption for this).
• Brand new (less than 2,000 miles) Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (OVER $1,000 IN VALUE). Includes 4 free replacement certificates from Discount Tire. The tires are 245, 0mm wider than factory specifications (provides better grip). The spare is on a 17in rim from a B7 A4 (I am not sure what happened to the original).
• New face for radio unit to fix peeling issues
• Replaced A/C unit from totaled 2005 A4 to fix peeling issues
• Replaced Window blind and ESP buttons
• New window buttons (all 4 doors)
• Replaced vacuum hoses related to Secondary Air Pump (December 2014).
• Front brake job (Pagid/Texter pads, E-type rotors all from JHM) in August 2012.
• Spark plugs replaced in August 2012 along with a new battery.
• The following items were all fixed/replaced in April 2014:
- Valve cover gasket. This was also repaired in August 2012 but the tech did not do the replace the O-rings properly so it was repaired again under warranty.
- Transmission fluid flush
- Passenger CV boot
- Engine Motor mounts (L+R)
- Complete HD Audi OEM Front Control Arm kit. This included both upper and lower control arms, all joints, earings, ushings, nd tie rods. The wheel hubs and steering knuckles were also replaced at this time due to a melted "sleeve" (a part that could not be purchased separately). Autoscope would be able to provide more detail about this problem as they've seen it before on different Audi's (albeit rarely). It was the first I had ever heard of it honestly (I am not that savvy to the workings of a suspension system), ut you're looking at a B6 S4 that essentially has a brand new front end suspension and drives pretty much like it was just out of the factory. The car is much tighter and rigid during spirited driving after this service. The likelihood you find one in better driving condition (stock) isminuscule. Control Arms on any B6 S4 will require replacement at some point in their lives (typical for this chassis), nd I've taken that hit already and replaced them with quality OEM heavy duty parts (no knockoffs here).
• Cons:
o The center console and window trim are peeling quite a bit. It was like this when I got the car. A new console is about $350. Or a vinyl repair shop can fix all of it.
o There is some bowing in the dash by the ignition (pictured), hich was also like this when I purchased it. I will try and glue this back for the new owner using automotive adhesive.
o The fake button and cup holder on the top of the center console could stand to be replaced. I don't eat/drink in the car, o it never concerned me.
