Description

Don't let the miles fool or scare you; if you know these cars at all, ou know they run indefinitely if properly maintained.
This is an adult only owned 1997 M3 Coupe with as complete and thorough service history that you will find. I have the ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER, very manual, he leather binder, he factory radio code card, he selling dealer reps business cards, VERY RECORD (First to Last including FACTORY WARRANTY ITEMS) ever performed on the car: Oil changes, ire replacement, heel alignment, ire pressure checking, tc. You name it, t's there in the 2 inch stack of receipts. I have spent over $15,000 in the past 5 years on up-keep and "make nice" items above and beyond the purchase price. The car starts, uns, rives, hifts, rakes, bsolutely perfectly. I change the oil every 5k miles religiously and use Liqui-Moly 10W60 (better than Mobil 1 which is why BMW uses it in Every M car since 2000).Here is a list of major items done just in the past year:
- A/C recharge with dye, uel cap, asg frt seat SRS connector, omplete Inspection 7/15- New factory lower front spoiler, poiler lip, mber fogs, rake air ducts 10/14 (rock in road, eplaced everything remotely touched)- New set of Continental Extreme Contact DW tires (less than 2,500 miles on them) 6/14- New set of Series I Motorsport wheels Completely re-done in factory finish (same miles) 6/14, ot them from California, y favorite style, etting very hard to find.- Performance lazer 4 wheel alignment (I do this about annually anyway)- Headliner re-done in factory material 6/14- New driveshaft flex disc (Guibo) 7/14- New Brembo front brake pads and Rotors (less than 5,000 miles on them) 7/14- New factory Radiator, adiator Fan, an Clutch, hermostat, oolant level sensor, nbsp; all Hoses, elts, lue BMW coolant. 8/14- New side view mirror glass (factory oem blue heated)
Just beyond 1 year but less than 2 years:
- The typical rust in the rear quarters, ockers, nd upper rear bumper all CUT OUT AND NEW METAL WELDED IN. 4/14- New windshield with new factory gasket / seal, actory windshield wiper arm molding (below glass where wipers rest)- New front and rear sway bars, way bar links, way bar bushings (starting to creak / clunk)- New complete set of Struts / Shocks, prings, ounts, ushings, earings, ump Stops- Liqui - Moly synthetic differential service, iqui - Moly synthetic gear / shifter service, teering flush, rake flush. (Late Summer 2013)- Both Oxygen sensors using factory Bosch (acceleration seemed lazy, ead about it somewhere, ade a huge difference)- New Water Pump (metal impeller) 8/13- Rear brake pads and rotors The car was re-painted in September 2010 but still looks very fresh. The only non - factory items are the amber fog lights (look cool and cut through night / fog incredibly. I have new clear set on hand if you don't like these), UC style cat back stainless muffler (sounds absolutely amazing without being obnoxious), port cold air intake, enon headlights with halo quad rings (incredible difference over stock, ook cool, ot weird bug - eye style like some have). I have ALL the original factory equipment and it goes with the car (muffler, ir box, eadlight assemblies). 2 sets of floor mats; Original factory black M series carpeted and black rubber all weather Bavarian (exact factory fit).
I have also installed the Bavarian performance software (black hockey puck in picture of documents) which improved mid range torque and removes the top speed limiter in case you need to go faster than 155 mph:-) If you can't tell by now, like my cars immaculate and they are always nicer when I sell them than when I buy them. This has been a great car for me and my 2nd E36 M3. Unfortunately, have 2 kids in sports and they're getting too big to keep shoving in the back seat (which is immaculate by the way). I wipe down footprints, andprints, ick prints, hatever, eekly. The trunk is maxed out with soccer balls, leats, oxing gloves, ickboxing gear, ou get the idea.
The car is COMPLETELY SORTED and needs nothing. The clutch is positive, rogressive, nd has plenty of bite and meat left. Absolutely everything works including the goofy stuff you don't think about until you need it like the cruise control, touch up and down windows, eated seats, touch up and 1 touch open moon roof, he intermittent wipers, ear defogger, tc, LL WORKS. Even the factory radio, disc CD changer both still sound great. Every light on the dash, nstrument cluster, love box, runk, oot wells, eading lamps works perfectly. Every switch is crisp and functions. The black Vaders are pristine, he dash is whole and crack-free.
Please ask any and all questions before bidding. I have tons and tons of pics of every nook and cranny of this car so let me know if you want to see something not pictured. Inspections and Test drives are welcome but I need some notice as I have a job and family. The car is in a Western Chicago Suburb and I work in a Northwestern Chicago Suburb; both are off of major expressways and easy to get to.
*** PayPal for the deposit (24 hrs), alance must clear, r cash in hand before car leaves my sight.
