This 1997 528i (e39) is for sale for parts or is rebuildable. I bought it to use as a donor for an engine swap. When I got the car, t would only go into Park, everse,Neutral and 1st. If put into drive, t would never shift out of 1st gear. It did have the ASC/ABS/Brake lights illuminated. Also, he car did not have functional rear window regulators. Basically, his is a good candidate for you to re-shell your wrecked car. The body is in decent shape, ith a few surface rust spots on the hood and another on the lip directly blow the trunk lid. As far as the interior is concerned, s it near perfect, ith the exception of a hole in the drivers' seat. Buyers will need to pay cash upon pickup. This car is sold AS IS, ith NO RETURNS.
