Description

NO RESERVE AUCTION

THE WHEELS IN THE PICS ARE MINE OFF OF MY DRAG CAR AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION. I JUST PUT THEM IN TO ROLL IT AROUND.
IT COMES WITH THE 4 CRAGAR MAGS IN THE PICS THAT WILL NEED TO BE REFINISHED. THE FRONT CRAGARS HAVE TIRES THAT ARE HOLDING AIR BUT DRY ROTTED AND THE REAR TIRES ARE WASTED AND WILL NOT HOLD AIR.
This Mustang belonged to my friends grandmother since the 70's and my friends dad started the process of restoring it. He removed the engine and had it professionally rebuilt along with the transmission and reinstalled them in the car before passing away from cancer last year . The interior has been removed and the complete floor pans have been replaced. They are not tacked down just set in. I bought it with the intent of restoring it after I finish the 65 I've been working on but an illness has forced me to part with it.
It has rust in several areas that needs to be repaired but every piece needed is readily and cheaply available from several sources. It had has body damage on the left rear lower quarter but a patch panel is available or can be easily repaired by anyone who can do body repair.
I have a couple of boxes that includes just about every original part that is not on the car currently.
The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt and turn over freely. I have not had the car running as I have only had it a short time and the carb and various other parts are not installed.
This would be a great project for someone wanting to restore it.
Please look at all the pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have before bidding. I have been on EBay since 1999 and have bought and sold a ton of cars and motorcycles and have 100% positive feedback and would like to keep it that way so ice tried to be as upfront about everything and have taken tons of pics to show the questionable areas.
I have stated that it has rust and dents and needs a restoration and most but not all of the original parts are there. The only parts I've noticed that are missing are the ram air piece that mounts to the underside of the hood (the ram air air cleaner is there), hich is readily available for about 250.00 new and the ac compressor. Most everything else is there.
My name is Tony and my number is 8threetwo68one00sixsix and you can text or call me with any questions and I will answer them as best as I can.
The Texas title is dated 1979 and the mileage showing on the odometer is about 17500 which I would imagine is probably 117500.
The motor and trans and driveshaft are installed and it rolls and steers but will need to be trailered.
Buyer is responsible for paying for and arranging their own shipping but I will assist in any way I can.
