BMW 540i M-sport 6-speed E39

Up for sale is a beautiful 2000 BMW 540i 6-speed M-tech. This car is like a time-capsule, t looks like a new car, t's quite stunning. The exterior is a solid 9/10 condition, he interior has no rips or tears, nly minor wear showing for a 16 year old car with 145k miles. Clean leather, lean carpets, ice steering wheel and shifter.
The motor starts right up and settles immediately into a smooth quiet idle. There are certain things to look for when shopping for E39 540 cars, nd this car passes that test with flying colors. NO CODES, o warning lights, othing. The #1 issue with any 540 is the timing chain guides, his car has recently had the chain tensioner replaced which is leading cause to the timing chain guides failing. We have replaced also the thermostat, nd had the ABS module rebuilt with lifetime warranty (another notorious issue on these cars).
My hobby is buying and fixing up E39's and I really hate to see this one go. We pick the best cars we can start with, nd bring them back up to spec so they will continue to reliable serve the new owner for years to come.
If you want an M5, ut don't want to shell out the extra $$$$, his 540i M-Tech package is the way to go. Same transmission, uspension, rakes, teering wheel, hifter as an M5 and the 540 V8 packs plenty of punch at the stock 300 HP. Swap out the front and rear bumper for M5 style and it's an M5 clone, ut we leave that up to you. This is a gorgeous sleeper as it is with the "baby Alpina" staggared wheels with fresh Michellin tires it is an understated sports sedan that can keep up with just about anything on the road while not attracting the wrong kind of attention.
