Description

Car was purchased by my business partner from previous older owner in 2010. This was his 5th car, and it ended up parked at my house most of the time. I always intended to acquire it from him once the time was right and that happened last year. I now find myself with 4 cars and only a 2 car garage, some of the cars have to go. Currently the car has nearly 70k on the clock, and between me and previous owner we put roughly 9k on this car in 6 years. Miles will go up slightly, and even though I have other cars, I love driving this little beast!

Overall this car is in fantastic condition, this car has not been abused and it has been a California & NW car for most of its life. The body presents in fantastic shape. I detail my own cars as a hobby, so I went through the entire car, polished and applied Opticoat to it, car looks fantastic. I applied Leatherique to the leather twice, leather is in great shape as well with tears. Car is 100% stock with the exception of the ZHP illuminated shift knob and Euro OEM front/sides/back lights & markers. I also have a car cover that will go with the car.

Car drives awesome, it revs incredibly smooth, absolutely no known problems. It feels very tight all around, amazing car to drive, I find myself looking of reasons to drive it every day even though I have several other newer & faster cars. Everything runs as it should, including AC, stereo, power windows, sunroof.

Overhauled Cooling system with the following parts from EVSO

GEBA – High Quality German Made pump featuring metal impeller

Heavy duty Aluminum Coolant Bleeder Screw

Thermostat

Expansion tank

Expansion tank Cap

BMW OEM Thermostat

Radiator Plug

Coolant Level Sensor

Aluminum Water Pump Pulley

BMW OEM Coolant

I replaced the radiator at the same time (I have receipts)

Within last 12 months

Refinished wheels, so no scratches on them (receipts)

I also replaced several other parts:

OEM Battery

Replaced many miscellaneous trim parts - cowl/wipers

Purchased brand new OEM mats from dealership

Both Radio and OBC where sent out for refurbishing due to dead pixels and bad buttons, so they have no dead pixels and all buttons work.

Replaced sagging headliner

Replaced the purple rear parcel with one that is black and looks great

Earlier this year I took the car to my preferred body shop as the front bumper clear coat was peeling, so we had that taken off and re-painted, perfect match. I also replaced the lower lip with brand new OEM lip, looks great. At the same time shop removed the slightly sagging rear bumper and replaced one of the absorbing shocks, so rear bumper is perfectly aligned now.

I have receipts for all this work and I can provide you with the shop info, this is a well-known local shop that deals with classic car restorations.

Before my friend purchased the car brakes were done all around, we actually went to check the car out while brakes were getting done around 59k miles. Goodyear Eagle F1 tires were put on the car around 60k miles as well, so they have around 10k miles on them, plenty of thread left.

Flaws, and I am trying to be thorough with this as I am extremely OCD with my cars:

Some paint chips on the hood, but overall this shows more like a 5-year car and not a nearly 20-year-old car. Since the front bumper was redone, there are NO flaws or chips on the front bumper, only on the hood and some on the side fenders. One very very small dent on the passenger side above and to the right off the wheel arch. Dent removal guy can take it out but it would require drilling to get access to it, I chose not to do it as it's barely visible. If bidding winner chooses to have it done, I will gladly take care of it.

Some slight scratches/chips on the paint throughout the rest of the car, about 5 total, I tried to get pics of them, very hard to show. Very solid all around, and definitely not an abused M3.

Driver side door rubber seal has a tear/hole in it, please see pic.

Front windshield plastic trim in the top corner by the driver side is coming unglued in an area of about 2 to 3 inches, it just does not sit flush against the body of the car.

Selling as I simply have too many toys and not enough garage room, please let me know if any other pictures are needed!
