The E36 chassis M3 was touted as one of the best handling cars of the 1990s in independent tests by Car & Driver. This model has the S50B30US engine straight-six engine known for its smoothness and reliability but with the right amount of rasp, zing and crispness. The USDM engine was developed for less maintenance compared to the euro spec engine. The 1995 OBDI emission is desired for its tunablitity and being very responsive to modifications.
