Description

. , this is not a typical 545i. This is a 545i DINAN Sedan, a very limited edition vehicle. What is a BMW Dinan? Dinan is not just a badge slapped on the back of the car. Dinan is a high performance modification package which was only installed by select BMW dealerships in 05 so this is not some aftermarket add on by an indy mechanic, garage or performance shop. The package includes full Dinan exhaust which produces horsepower and a great exhaust note, tuning chip, Dinan intake as well as Cold Air Intake, etc. This car is super quick and has a sport mode that makes the automatic shift at higher revs for even more fun. Car takes off quickly and in sport mode actually squeals the tires on shifts to give you an idea of the quickness and grip. In addition to Sport mode there is also a manual shift (tiptronic type mode) Car handles great as well..An excellent blend of luxury and speed. Not sure of exact horsepower but I suspect close to 400 HP.
I originally purchased this car because I thought I was going to be doing a lot of commuting for a new job but turns out I will be working remotely instead. I would love to keep the car but already have too many vehicles.
From an options perspective the car is well loaded with leather, sunroof, automatic and some options not typically seen on most 545's of this year model like, optional power thigh bolsters which make long drives very comfortable, directional xeon headlights, 360 parking sensors, iDrive system with info screen and bluetooth phone integration, also has heated seats which work great and a great looking dark wood grain trim
When I purchased the car I needed it to be reliable so I had my personal mechanic drive it and keep it as long as needed to fix anything and everything needing attention, car has had a long list of repairs and maintenance done to make sure it is running perfectly. He had the car for about a month and major items repaired were all the oil seals, address all service lights which included replacing multiple sensors, seatbelt tensionaors, and a known airbag module. Also replaced control arms and engine mounts as well as the heat pump, brake job as well as some other items I can't recall but I do have the paperwork. Currently has zero oil leaks and no service lights absolutely everything on the car works. A/C blows super cold in the summer...timing chain has not been replaced but my mechanic says it currently shows no signs of wear
When I got the car back I installed a new battery, new 20 inch staggered wheels and tires (tires have about 2000 miles total on them). Also had only one key so I purchased an extra ($250) as well as a set of new M5 floor mats.
Car is a local Dallas car has ~120K and a clean title, mileage will go up slightly as I still drive daily.
From a condition perspective it is in great shape. Interior leather has no rips and is in great shape. The exterior paint is probably a 7 out of 10 with some typical chips in the front air dam but the rear trunk lid top is very dull and has a small circular stain...might be easily buffed out but have not tried as I was going to wait until summer, I was considering plasti dipping the vehicle if I kept it.....
