Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, n sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, n order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

For 1982 the Buick Riviera experienced several major changes including a range of engines and the introduction of the first Riviera convertible! The 1982 model Riviera was a perfect design for the convertible top and retained its unique formal roofline with a luxurious appeal. The cars were built in Detroit at the end of 1982 and shipped to 'American Sunroof' in Lansing, I for conversion into convertibles. These Riviera convertibles are very desirable and are often seen in parades. Color choices were reminiscent of Henry Ford with the choice of only two colors, iremist Red or White with only 1,248 cars built in 1982 (898 in White & 350 in Firemist Red). They were built for 4 years (1982-5) with only 3,898 built in total. The 1982 models were different to the later models of 1983-5 as they were finished with beautiful hand sewn 'Moroccan Leather' in 'Maple' reminiscent of the convertibles of old and were only used in the convertible model. The later models used the regular production color red which was more like a 'Maroon' color.
This car was purchased by its original Colorado owner on 3/11/1982 from 'Bill Dreiling Buick' of Lakewood, O and the car has obviously always been garaged. It was reportedly purchased by only its second Colorado owner in 2003 with 16,942 original miles. It is all original with no signs of any accidents and a clean CARFAX report.
The original factory 'White' color paint is in pristine condition as is the original 'Maple' leather interior which is in as beautiful condition throughout. The car drives exactly like a well maintained and serviced Buick should and must be driven to be fully appreciated and seen to be believed! The engine is extremely strong with no noticeable oil leaks, he transmission is very smooth shifting and the temperature always remains cool.
You will surely look long and hard to find a finer example of this exceptionally clean and increasingly collectible and desirable 1982 Buick Riviera Convertible with only 18K original miles available anywhere else!
