Description

One of a kind, eticulously maintained, riginal, araged, 969 Buick Skylark 350-2 up for auction! Car was purchased at Bill McDavid Buick dealership in Weatherford, exas in 1969 - has always been kept in a garage therefore it still looks right off the showroom floor - 40,555 ORIGINAL MILES! Car has not been modified and is dent free!

“Mint” condition would be an understatement for this car. Was my grandparent's vehicle before being passed down to my mother, nd now me. After owning for 6 years it is time to pass it on to hopefully someone who can appreciate this amazingly maintained vehicle. I am not a dealer, his was my weekend car to cruise around Austin, exas.

Car runs and rides incredibly smooth. Could easily be a daily driver or kept in the garage for special occasions…engine is super strong and runs like a top!

Fuel gauge does not work as well as A.C. finally gave out in summer of 2015 and needs a new compressor. EVERYTHING else still working properly. My mom had the car repainted sometime in the late 80’s with the original color, rumpet Gold. Paint looks amazing and has been lovingly waxed and detailed over the years while here in Austin.

Dash is not cracked. Original wheels and hubcaps. Headliner looks brand new. Interior lights and lenses look new. Floor carpet still looks new. Seats in front AND back are impeccable. Tire jack and spare still in trunk, s is original trunk liner. Some wear around foot panels and edges of plastic near door from entering and exiting the vehicle. Rubber door and trunk insulation still good, lthough some cracking and deterioration due to age.

While in Austin all maintenance was performed at Austin's premier shop, olvin Automotive.

This vehicle has been appraised as Class Two (VERY GOOD) by Appraiser Felix Lopez, icensed Adjuster in the State of Texas, ertified by The American Society of Certified Auto Appraisers, 8 years experience in Auto Appraisal Industry

This car is well restored with an eye for detail. The interior and exterior show minimal wear, nd it runs and rides smoothly. The car is driven very little (maybe 800 to 1000 miles per year). This class is a slight grade below Class One. A Class Two has not been detailed to the extent that a Class One has been. This class (Class Two) has some evidence of use and wear, lthough not very much. It is considered “cherry” or “mint”. This vehicle might appear as a Class One until judged against one.
