1971 Buick Skylark Custom Coupe 2-Door 5.7L

Iam selling my 1971 Buick Skylark.

It has a (SBB) Small Block Buick 350 that has a Fresh complete top and bottom rebuild from local engine builder. I have not dynode the car built to be around 400-425HP.This was originally a Th350 automatic.Transmission that has been removed.That I switched over to a Muncie 4 speed M-22.I had purchased the transmission and sent it off to a Professional Muncie Transmission Builder in Michigan the Transmission has been completely rebuilt also and I installed new bell housing, clutch & flywheel all new parts. I do have all receipts for all the work done since I purchased the car. I have a full file of everything done.The body has 68k original miles. The transmission and SBB motor has less than one thousand miles on complete builds.

I have owned the car for about 15 years and have purchased a couple of other cars over the last couple of years and it’s time for someone else to enjoy this car.

I have a pretty big list of quality parts installed.. The wheels on the car are from BOSS and will go with the sale. I also have the original stock wheels that will go with the car.

MSD Ignition wires, distributer, MSD 6A box

New Oversized radiator.

Poston Buick Intake. 750 Holly carb manual choke

Exhaust Header with Flow master duel exhaust. sounds really good!

McLeod clutch

New aluminum Bell housing

New flywheel

new inner front fender wells

windows have been tinted

new inside door panels front and back

10-Bolt rear with auburn posi and 373 gears.

Motor SBB- Poston Buick internals, I believe poston Buick is out of business but i do have all the engine build specs and receipts.

Rear end has coil over adjustable QA-1 shocks with dampener adjusters.

Rear-end Morose adjustable upper and lower control arms.

New Front Disk break conversion with all new break lines, proportion valve and master cylinder.

Rear Drums breaks New break shoes and replaced warn parts.

The car stops good!

The bucket seats are out of a 70 Chevelle. originally was bench seat. (Bucket Seats will need to be recovered they are in good shape but they are a dark blue. They have seat covers on now) Arm rest will need to be recovered or replaced.

Still has the stock steering column.

I have removed all the A/C pump and parts. I installed a block out plate on the fire wall that has the heater motor so the car still has good heat.

I do have all the original A/C parts that will go with the sale and if desired you can put the A/C back into the car with original parts.

I had the car painted a several years back and it does have a couple of blemishes from being in a tight garage. The car is not a show car it is a driver.

This car is a very good runner with all new/rebuilt professionally driveline and I would trust driving anywhere in the country from east coast to west coast. very good runner with zero Colling issues. So fly out and drive it back home!!!

Every time I take the car out she gets tons of attention with tons of stories of how someone use to own the same car with a story behind it. These cars have already become very desirable and are hard to find in decent shape that you don’t have to put a ton of work into.
