Description

I would like to note the only bad feedback I have is incorrect. The porsche was sold and the buyer is happy with the car. The boat also sold and with the fully functional engines and so called poor trailer the buyer drove it 4 hours home without issue. I did refund the deposit to the person that won the boat as his offer was $2500 and I sold it on craigslist for $9200. I don't want any mis representation comments that are not accurate to effect anything I sell here. I took a chance selling this tribute on ebay because it's a very collectible car. And a lot of owners of these cars take a lot of pride in them as we have. So I am saying tribute not clone based on its 100% transformation from the ground up. Not just a few badges and wheels. This is a 4 year build custom tribute that was barely used after completion. Thank you for reading this. NOW THE CAR--------This car is essentially a brand new GNX. The car was bought a few years ago by my brother as a gift to our father. Our father owned 2 GNXs from ASC and many Grand Nationals. I myself have owned quite a few turbo regals including a few ultra low mile Grand Nationals and the rare Limiteds as well. The main reason this car was bought for the simple fact that it is FLAWLESS. Back in 1987 the paint on many of the Grand Nationals just as the GNXs was flawed. And many were repainted from the factory. When ASC who turned a Grand National into a GNX they simply hand picked fully loaded Grand Nationals off the assembly line after they were built then took them to their factory and added the parts to become a GNX. What I am selling is not a 25 plus year car that has dried up seals. roken or cracked bumper fillers. Such as the infamous 9 mile GNX that sold at Barrett a couple of years back. The paint was as expected. Flawed and the fillers were cracking. Yes it did sell for over $125k. But it was far from perfect. And needed a minor restoration. So when my brother found out a Tribute GNX was for sale. A lot of people took notice. He bought the car after selling his very low mile GN and gave it to my dad as a gift that would remain in the family until now as my father is in hospice and no longer can enjoy the cars he owns. This car is the pinnacle of what a GNX should of been when built. It took 4 years to get the parts and 3 low mile cars to build one PERFECT GNX by hand from the ground up. There are no reproduction parts on the car. Everything is identical to the way ASC built them except this car wasTaking down to bare metal. Glass beaded Primed and clear coated with over 60 hours of wet sanding to make the car look like black glassThe paint job alone would cost close to $20k if done againThen all the bushings and weatherstripping was replacedThe doors got new motors for the windows Anything that was even remotely worn out was replaced with brand new NOS parts The body fillers are oem not fiberglass The rear drums are aluminum. The brakes are all new with new linesThe engine was rebuilt to factory STOCK specs. Even though it was fine you can't just build something and not do everything perfect The transmission has the GNX valve body with the black tranny cooler in front Every sticker that ASC put on the cars was also put on this car. The inter cooler is GNX and the turbo has the ceramic impeller as wellUnderneath the car is again flawless. The oem rear was installed. Infamous on GNXs with the driveshaft loopThe interior is brand new. The seats - the dash are all perfect. The dash gauges are SW oem GNX not a reproduction The antenna and radio work perfect. The a/c has the original black dryer and is ice cold I have over 50 pics of this car. Even the trunk sticker is coded GNX with the vin the car has. I can go on and on but some people call these cars clones. Nobody has ever spent 4 years building a car with every part ASC added and put on A $20k paint job. This is the only car of its kind. It's basically a brand new GNX hand built by someone who wanted it perfect not flawed. I have seen over 25 GNXs. Been to bowling green Nationals 3 times. Have friends who own GNXs. And there is no car as nice and as dedicated to be what ASC did but with modern day paint and every seal and item as new as today not over 25 years ago. Words cannot describe this car. I am trying but I can't say how incredible the car is. Those who have seen it are in awe. My friends who own low mileGNXs are baffled by the quality and perfection this car has. It took two days for ASC to bolt on the parts that made a GNX. It took 4 years and over 250 man hours to build this car. It drives looks and rides like a brand new car. In the time we have owned it. It stays in a climate controlled garage with a $200 breathable cover. It's been driven 1200 miles since the complete 100% restoration. If you want to own a brand new GNX with the jacket and book and not spend $60k plus for a used one that will need paint and more then likely a light restorationbecause I haven't seen one yet that seals were drying out. Dashes cracking by the speakers. Paint that the clear is starting to haze out. They all are 25 plus years old. Most people buy them and stick them in the garage. This car can be driven and enjoyed and no worries of rust or rattles or creaks in a car you spent a fortune on. I have priced this car to sell and to go to a fan with less money but more sense. That's why we bought it. Everything ages and this car hasn't even been driven in the rain. Call 954-695-2975 with any questions. I have many many pics. Over 50 more. I can send a link to them if you contact me. On Mar-21-15 at 17:41:51 PDT. seller added the following information:I WANT TO ADD------- Anybody who comes here seriously buying this car and feels it isn't described correctly or not what I have promoted on ebay I will refund your air fair and hotel if it be - because I am that sure this car is that nice and new and flawless making all GNXs aging built over 25 years ago The perfect bargain. You can buy a low mile GN. It will still be an aged car with issues. Or a GNX ASC factory built mad end up needing paint and paying more then double for a car that is aged and identical in looks and function. Or a waste of money since driving it ages it more and most need paint and other issue related stuff. Some will say that tribute will NEVER go up in value. Yes it will. Every year in the last 4 years tributes renovated professionally car's like new have not just sold for sometimes more then the original one. At Mecum auctions and Barrett and so on. PEOPLE want a turn key gorgeous RIGHT NOW car not one decaying in age and parts impossible to get. Paint costing double figures. MY car is the perfect car for the person looking for an original oem parted car with all the other parts and it is 100% FULLY restored!!!!!!! Ask any auction buyer or person on the street. DO you want a possible project costing more then twice or a car identical and perfect with modern bushings and paint and WORKMANSHIP Y. E. S. Will always be the answer. The restored car with turn key perfection always wins. Half the money 10x the car. On Mar-22-15 at 11:11:08 PDT. seller added the following information:I made a 5 min video of car today.
