Description

Re-listing due to a NON PAYING buyer. please take the time to read the listing and call me with any questions so there are no second thoughts after you buy the car!An American Classic. an Original 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. Priced Right And Ready To Drive Home. No Matter. Where Home Happens to be! This classic car American automobile is perfect the first time classic car owner or for use in parades. weddings. special events or just cruising around town with some friends and feeling cool. Pull into a parking lot. ANYWHERE. and you will be followed by a crowd of adoring fans. My daily driver is a Ferrari. but I have been driving this Eldorado for two weeks and I can honestly tell you it gets more thumbs up and smiles than my little red car! It’s a 1973 White Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with power white vinyl top. red interior and just over 90. 00 original miles. She sports a 500 cu. in V8. 235 hp motor and a 4BBL and automatic transmission. Power steering. power brakes. power seats. power windows. power locks and original AM/FM push button radio. Red interior with red leather seats. red door panels. red carpet. red steering wheel and red padded dash with wood grain. During the 100 or so miles I have personally driven the car everything works as it should and the car drives and rides great. The frame is straight. the undercarriage in nice shape and there is no rust on the body save a tiny bit of previous work on the lower right trunk lid! The car starts. runs. drives. shifts. brakes. and function as intended. As with all cars that are 40+ years old there are some minor issues: The top is only in fair shape. there are no holes and works flawlessly but it is showing wear on the sides. The paint is decent not perfect by any means The driver’s side seat has side two slits in it (see pictures for details) Now The Bad News While the car looks. runs and drives just fine it was idling badly and I thought it could just be adjusted but alas it cannot. The engine has a bad valve and three under performing values. This can be addressed in one of three ways: 1) We can have a complete value job done for you for $15002) Or we can switch out the engine for a recently reconditioned engine (the previous owner spent 4. 00 on) from another 73 Cadillac we have in the back whose floor looked like the Flintstone car when we removed the seats and we decided we could not sell it. Same price $1500. Or you can buy with confidence at full disclosure and do the work yourself. You might be able to fine a cheaper car but trust me all these cars have issues that need sorting when you first get them. then they are fine. I’m laying all mine on the table so there are no surprises! This would be a great car to make pristine or just enjoy it as it is and drive it home! I have four of these right now and for the money this is the best all round deal! Best of all these cars are easy to work on should you wish to. parts are in abundance and the prices of these babes are going no where but up… They don’t make em like this any more! Grab your piece of American history and watch it appreciate while you enjoy it!CALL Andrew at 352-201-8002
