1990 Cadillac Allante convertible/hardtop

Pinin farina made the bodies for these cars in Italy, ent them to the US where the Cadillac drive train was installed. a total of 21,000 were built over seven years, nd in the 1990 model year, here were 2,523 built and sold. This car has the overhead valve 4.7 liter Cadillac engine with 200 horsepower and lots of torque, ot the Northstar which was used in 1993. I have owned it about ten years. The car drives well, racks and brakes straight, he steering is a bit heavy but it is a nice car to drive. The top is no great joy to put up or down; you have to get out of the car and push a set of buttons. I can think of no flaws for the moment, ther than the spotted paint on the flanks; I could use it every day without a problem, nd have used it as my personal car at one point. It has the electrical dashboard which is fully functioning and the diagnostic system on the center screen works. From time to time I have had to add coolant, ost recently last summer.
