I bought this car from the original owner. Its in great shape for being original. The man paid 7700 for it in 1972. He has had it ever since. When I got the car he had not had it started in a few months and it fired right up. I drove it around the block and it drove very nice but had some spitting from old gas and plugs. I took it to my mechanic who specializes in old school cars and he has done the following to make it a turn key driver. Adjusted the brakes. topped off all fluids. changed the oil. changed the gas and all fuel lines. ew spark plugs and adjusted points. The car runs great and you could drive it home if you would like. We have gone over the car and the top goes up and down. There is one bar in the middle that will need to be adjusted. When you close it you have to kinda watch it so it does not get hung up. Tires all the way around are brand new. have all original owners manuals and pic of when it was newer. The spare tire in the trunk is the original and has never been out of the trunk. He had the motor replaced on a trip back from florida one year and had the trans done at the same time. They are both strong. shift well and motor has great compression. This is a factory A/C car and its all intact. As for rust this car only has 2 spots and they are not huge nor a big deal. They are the floors in the back under passengers feet and they have been plated over in the cab the only way you can tell is if you put the car on a lift. Other than that the car has NO other rust any place and has never been in an accident of any kind. "If you have any questions call Andrew at 352-201-8002
