1957 Chevrolet 2 dr Post 350 4spd Project/Driver Car TRUE GARAGE FIND !!!!!

This is a true garage find. This 1957 Chevrolet was in storage for 20 yrs after the cars owner passed away and the family just left the car just sitting in the garage. So last year after finding out the family wanted it gone I went to look at and purchased it. It's a 1957 Chevrolet with a newer GM Crate motor 350/300hp mild Comp Cams hydraulic cam Aluminum Intake Edelbrock Carb headers chrome valve covers new brakes and lines/hoses car runs great and drives fine shifts smooth clutch is excellent car just needs restored. We got it running pretty easily by pre-oiling it cleaning carb and fuel tank and the car fired right up and purrs like a kitten. Paint is 30 yrs old and I just had a friend touch up most of the small chips you see in pics. However there is some bubbling in the paint here and there but over-all its a pretty solid old car and you can tell its never sat outside the floors are pretty nice and the frame is solid no issues. I was going to get the body done and paint it black etc but its just been sitting and I am out of room. The body is straight doors close with 1 finger no sagging interior is pretty decent seats and door panels are nice for their age but needs stereo and some work to get all gauges working. Has GM Rally wheels and tires are not even dry rotted due to the climate controlled environment its been in. If your looking for the pie in the sky don't waste my time or yours car needs a headliner and a few minor cosmetics but is NOT A SHOW CAR by any means. This car runs excellent and can be driven anywhere like it is. It needs a paint job and some body work but is a great starter car and would be a great father/son project.
