Description

If you are looking for the ultimate towing rig. or you just want to make a statement then this pickup truck is for you. It is a 2004 Chevrolet c4500 pickup. This has been my personal truck since 2008 and is an incredible machine. From the factory it was taken to Monroe truck conversions and had a pickup conversion done to it. making it the ultimate dually pickup truck. It came with and still has its gleaming blue paint. which other then a few minor paint touchups and a couple of small chips. is in good overall condition. The interior is a black and gray/silver upholstery which wears extremely well. and is in good condition. Headliner and carpeting are a tan color. The carpet has minor stains as you would expect but is in good condition. not torn. frayed. worn through etc. Driving this truck is a dream overall with the assisted power steering. power heater mirrors. dual heaters (standard heating and optional rear heater). rear window defogger. power assisted hydro vac brake system. nbsp; air ride driver and passenger seats. optional manual overdrive switch. engine braking system. and very upgraded sound system. I know you will ask. so here it is: Kenwood am fm cd xm auxillary input. remote operated receiver deck. I had installed in 2010. This unit drives. two alpine amps. boston acoustics separate speakers in front doors and 2 jl audio bass speakers in custom made box behind back seat. OK enough of the stuff you see and lets get down to the nitty gritty. The engine is a duramax 6. 0 backed up to a Allison transmission. going to a 4 series rear gear axle. This is an incredible pulling machine whether you are pulling a horse trailer. enclosed trailer. open trailer. recreational trailer or something else. Comes with both a gooseneck hitch. and a large class tag hitch. Both are wired for standard 7 prong plugs. A neat option this rig has. which I don't know the technical name for. but allows you to dump the air out of the air bags to back under a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer to assist in coupling them. This pickup also has the engine exhaust brake (jake). so when you have a load on it and are doing speeds above 35. you can turn it on to assist your braking. Pickup has a hydroboost hydraulic braking system. with monster disc brakes. front and rear) so braking is a breeze. and or course there is the electric brake controller in the cab as well. This pickup has had regular oil changes. fuel filter changes. air filter changes. brakes are 80%+ on front. nearly new on back. tires are 75% on back and approx. 60% on front. I purchased these front tires used and one of them has a slight wear pattern to the outside which causes the truck to slightly pull to the right. there is nothing wrong with the steering. it is the tire. (I would and do drive it like it is. until it is time to replace front tires) I had front bearings serviced and seals replaced approx. 10k miles ago. and front shocks where replaced as well. Transmission was serviced by GM dealer and now has a small trans fluid leak at trans cooler to line seal. They say it needs a gasket seal which is readily available I just haven't taken the time to do it. Also there is an electrical relay for the air compressor that controls the air ride seats that needs replaced. Compressor works fine (I just haven't replaced the relay yet. Factory injectors were replaced at 70k miles by dealer as well. I am sure there is more you may want to know. and I am available for contact at 360 219 5032 Pacific standard time. Please be respectful of time. zone. I have put approx. 70K miles on the pickup since I purchased it and have not been disappointed at all. Drives easy. turns incredible. good mileage. lots of looks per mile etc etc. I have greatly enjoyed this pickup but as life changes so do the requirements of things around you and this pickup hardly gets used. (less then 2500 miles a year) (0 miles) in 2015. and I just don't need all the incredible capabilities that this truck has to offer any more. I noticed the indicator showing an accident this truck was in. The truck was not in an accident. the trailer I was pulling lost a tire and wheel due to an incompetent Goodyear Store employee who didn't touque wheel correctly. Just thought I would point it out.
