1965 Corvette Convertible original 396, side pipe car, power windows,steering

You are viewing an original 1965 big block 396 corvette convertible with factory side pipes. telescopic column. and power windows. Power steering has been added to the car as it was used to autocross by a previous owner who owned the car for 25 years. The car sports a period correct 327 engine as the 396 engine is missing in action. The side exhaust system has been changed to match up to the smaller engine. The original TI is missing and other BB engine components. The BB radiator core support and fan shroud are still installed in the engine bay. It has its original 4 speed transmission but the reverse lockout isn't working and it sometimes doesn't shift from 1st to 2nd like as it should. The original hardtop is missing also. The car was originally painted glen green but painted red years ago. The interior is mostly original except for the seat inserts look vintage 70s. The door panels are original with the typical tears from 50 years of use. Frame is nice with no rust.
