Description

Up for sale is my 1937 Chevy Street Rod. I have owned it for about 8 years. and I have not done much to it in that time. The paint is single stage Dupont enamel and does have a few chips that have been touched up. This is a driven street car. not a $70k show car. It has a great running early 70's small block 350. turbo 350 tranny. 57' chevy rear end. Mustang II IFS. the steering rack is a power unit but not hooked up} Boyds alloy rims with Grand Am radials 15x8 255-60-15 rear 15x7 195-60-15 front. Superior fiberglass front fenders. running boards and 2" wider rear fenders. new aluminum streetrod radiator. Edelbrock intake. carb. cam. valve covers & air cleaner . Hooker block hugger headers running to Cherry bomb mufflers. nbsp;VDO vintage gauges 5pc cluster. Limo tint glass not film. The interior does need to finished. The seat is a third row seat out of a newer Suburban. Looks like natural leather. It does have some carpet and door panels. But it is a nice Street Rod and I get compliments and thumbs up every time I take it out. Extras that come with it { these items are not installed on the car } are a new power brake booster and master cylinder. power steering hose kit to adapt chevy pump to Ford rack. and a p. s. pump with brackets. Mr 40's trunk lid lift support kit. Here are a couple of things I would change if I were to keep it: The tilt steering column is out of a Ford . nbsp;the front springs have been shortened so the tires rub on the fenders if turned too sharp. Should have new springs to raise it up about an 1 1/2"- 2". The grille is perfect as is all the rest of the stainless and chrome. Only reason for selling is that I have other car projects that I need money for to finish. If you have questions or want other pics message me through Ebay and I will message you back. No scammers. Serious bidders only. This is advertised locally and will be removed from here if it sells elsewhere. This car is not perfect but is a very respectable street rod that runs and drives and gets a lot of attention. It just needs a new owner to finish it. Transportation costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will gladly help with the loading onto the carriers truck. If you have 0 feedback please contact me first before bidding or I will cancel the bid. A non refundable $1. 00. 00 deposit must be paid within 24hours of auction close. Then the remainder paid by bank transfer or a cleared certified cashiers check within 3 days of auction close. All funds will be cleared and verified before the car leaves my possession. Cash will also be accepted if picking the car up in person. On Apr-18-15 at 19:40:04 PDT. seller added the following information: The body is solid and in great shape. There is a small scuff/dent on the very bottom of the metal chin piece under the grille. You can't see it unless you are under the car. There are also a couple of small bubbles in the paint on the very lower portion of the panel behind the drivers door. Not bad I just want to be honest. They are smooth and not all blistery. I can't get them to show up in a picture. The fenders and running boards are solid and crack free. In fact the running boards have never been stood on or had peoples shoes on them. So the paint is in as good of condition as the rest of the car. This car has always been stored in a garage by me and the previous owner. There is no A/C or heater in this car.
