Description

PURCHASE TO RECEIVE:One 1970 Chevelle with numbers matching LS6 engine and SS options such as heavy duty suspension. 12 bolt rear end. and more. This is a rust free beautiful car. It is not a concours in condition but good condition. We are working on detailing it for a collector car auction that is coming up in a few weeks but wanted to put it on Ebay before it goes to auction just to see if we can avoid the auction hassle. Note: We do have the correct SS wheels. center caps. beauty rings. and Firestone Wide Oval Tires for this car. You may have your choice of the 17" custom wheels and tires on the car in the photos or the correct SS wheels. Other than the wheels and tires in the photos. this car has little to no aftermarket "incorrect" parts. It has been restored back to look "period correct" with attention to detail. We do have the correct chrome "LS6"exhaust tips for the car even though photos show exhaust tips are not installed. They will be installed before car is sold. This car decodes 450hp LS6 automatic with block pad stamped TO427CRR 10F******Engine Block 3968512. Dated 1970 with 4-Bolt MainsHeads 3964291 Closed chamber square port. Dated 1970Carburetor 4492 ListIntake 3963569Alternator 1100837 Distributor 1111437Deep Groove Pulleys w/ 7-Blade Clutch FanTrim tag reads TR 756 17 17 PNT05DThe car has Strato Bucket Seats. 6500 Redline Tach. Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission. 12 bolt rear end. Power front Disc Brakes. Large diameter sway bars with heavy duty suspension and functional cowl-induction flapper hood. Fuel tank has been replaced and back seat has been re-upholstered and there is not a tank sticker or build sheet found or present with the car. so no need to ask. This car does not have the original air in the tires and the car has been restored a number of years back. Engine was recently professionally rebuilt (balanced and blueprinted). as was the transmission also. This is not a paperwork car and we have no way to know what parts are born to the car and what has been changed over the years. It is being sold as is for what it is. nothing further expressed or implied past what we have described in this listing!! If this bothers you. there are a few 1970 Chevelle's with LS6 engines and paperwork that come for sale from time to time. and this may be a better fit for the ultra scrupulous buyer. For a person who would like to own a nice 1970 Chevelle with LS6 engine and the above listed SS options and can enjoy the car for what it is here and now. this may be your car! Hagerty Price Guide list average value of 1970 Chevelle Coupe with 450 HP 454 engine at $86. 56. 00 and concours #1 condition $158. 00. We feel we have established a fair asking price. This car could be made near Concours in condition for less than $20. 00 parts and labor. we estimate. We have used the Hagerty's lower condition rating between #3 and #4 when establishing the asking price: #4 cars are daily drivers. with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches. the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect. and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing. but the wheels could differ from the originals. or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car. #3 cars could possess some. but not all of the issues of a #4 car. but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new. correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well. but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses. and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car. This car runs well and is very fast--one of the fastest cars I have ever had the privilege to drive--scary fast! Thanks for taking the time to read and for your interest. Best to you!
