Description

Up for auction is the original authentic antique ultra rare ONE OF ONE Fire Marshals company vehicle from Clark County Vancouver 1953. clear title and im the second owner after the fire dept. (Ive got original paperwork to prove). THAT'S RIGHT THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND. THE ONLY ONE THERE IS AND RELUCTANTLY I HAVE TO LET IT GO - - - NEARLY FINISHED! - - - again im the second owner after the fire dept and i have documents - - - - (This is NOT a project car. its nearly done and you can use it as a daily driver right now should you wish or drive it on weekends as i do). This car was instrumental in all those horrific fire in Vancouver from 1953 to the early 1960's. Ive been told by the historian that the Marshall HIMSELF GOT THE CAR UPGRADED TOP THE 350 WHEN THEY CAME OUT YEARS LATER. It was then retired and brought back out for a few days as a DARE charity vehicle to take photos and raise money! - AND YES YOU WILL BE STOPPED ON THE STREETS. OTHER DRIVERS LITERALLY STOP THEIR CARS AND THIS IS THE MOST HEAD TURNING VEHICLE IVE EVER OWNED AND AS A COLLECTOR OF MORE THAN 50 CARS. THAT SAYS SOMETHING! As it was stored at the fire dept for decades the floor pan is as clean as you can get it. likewise in the main floor and spare tire well as you can see from all the pics. THERE IS NOTHING MISSING WITH THIS VEHICLE!!!!!This Verile would be showroom condition with just a few thousand dollars and you'd be the ONLY one with one PERIOD!!! if you want more pics. please inquire. The back is already decked out in stitched black leathered diamond pattern with matching roof lining. The only interior work is the seat tear and passenger window and carpet on the floor - THATS IT! (oh and if you put a radio in). Has original white wall spare and rear valve to air up the suspension too!!For me my list was as follows: - Sand back - Fix the minor surface rust spots- paint the original fire engine red from the paint code- new passenger window- new rear door pins- new door seals- align all doors- fix leather rip and front floor carpet - Gear box leak- Put in new gasket carby kit- the 350 motor has been tuned last week and purs like a kitten and runs even better! (SIREN WORKS BUT DISCONNECTED FOR LEGAL REASONS. SPOTLIGHT WORKS TOO) DONE! NOTHING MORE!!!! (that is not much money at all and you'll have something no one else has)!!!!i hate to see this go and so do all my friends. neighbors. family and anyone that's seen it. To whoever gets it. please take care of it because its my baby! So don't miss your chance to secure a peice of Motoring and state history with this amazing vehicle and all the history it comes with!! happy bidding!!! On May-01-15 at 10:26:25 PDT. seller added the following information:To the antique collectors emailing me. I won't be selling the siren separately. Thank you :)
