1981 Z28This was a nice daily drive that in the passed year I invested a lot of time. love. and $$$ in. The next step for this car was body and paint. It has the normal rust spots that these cars have and patch panels are all over e bay. I was trying to make it though the winter before doing the body. nbsp;but last month it was rear ended by a Toyota. I am getting married in the fall and don't have time or the drive to put into this car. Moving on to other projects before single time runs out! This is a Real Z28 with Build Sheet. This car was only a few hundred from meeting the reserve before it ended last time. Engine6. 6 Liter Built for the Street 10. 0:1 400 Small Block Chevy bored 30 over to a 407. Eagle Rotating Assembly. All New ARP Bolts and Hardware. Clevite 77 Bearings and Fel-Pro Gaskets. Melling High Volume High Pressure Oil pump. Canton Street/Strip(7qt. trap door and built in windage tray) Oil Pan and Pick Up. Custom Crank Scraper. Moroso Lifter Valley Baffle. Two piece Timing Cover with Cam Button. Comp Cams 270 Degreed with 1. 6 Stainless Steel Roller Rockers. Cloyes Billet Steel True Double Roller with 9-Position Sprocket and Thrust Bearing. Port matched Dart Iron Eagle Heads and Steam holes have been Drilled. Bronze Valve Guides. Stainless Steel Valves. Comp Cams Valve Spring(Matched to Cam) and Hardened Push Rods and Guide Plates. New Power Steering Pump and Power Steering Hoses. New Belts. 90 amp Alternator has been taken apart. nbsp;power coated and Rebuilt. New AC Delco Battery Transmission and DifferentialThe Transmission is a 1979 Borg Warner Super T10. It has been completely taken apart. Powder Coated and Rebuilt. The tail hosing has been replaced with a Later one with Thrush Bearing that the Earlier ones did not have. The Trans was then Reassembled with Stainless Steal Hardware and Top Off with a 1978 Trans Am NOS Factory Hurst Shifter. NOS GM(new in box pre-81) Fork. Fork Boot. Through Out Bearing. Clutch and Clutch Cover. ARP Fly Wheel and Clutch Cover(pressure plate) Bolts. The Differential is stock to the car and untouched other then Fluid. NOS In GM Boxes Outer Door Handles Fiberglass L88 Hood in ok shape. Tilt Column with Z28 Rope Wheel. OEM Shifter and some other odds and ends. This car has a full tank of gas! Bring a valid license plate and a tail light and you can drive it home!Please Keep In Mind That This Is Not A Show Car And It Was An Every Day Car That Was Driven All Year Round.
