2004 Twin Turbo Corvette Z06 Modified By Granatelli Motorsports 972 HP The cover article in the November 2006 Vette Magazine about this car was entitled "Overkill" and the headline questioned. "Could J. R. Granatelli's twin turbo terror be the most powerful C5 on the road?". I am pleased to present that very 972 HP 2004 Corvette Z06. Dyno sheets accompany the car. This car was modified by Granatelli Motorsports and owner Joe Granatelli who is the nephew of motorsports legend Andy Grantelli. The car only has 5800 +/- miles on it and the VIN # is 1G1YY12S445108803. The color of the car has obviously been changed to a dark custom black cherry (formerly yellow as seen in the magazine articles). In a nutshell. for the price of a brand new standard Corvette. you can have the most unique. road burning. eye opening. hair raising. traffic stopping. modified. tuned Corvette on the planet and isn't that really what you want. The Z06 is a great car. but Granatelli Motorsports turned this Z06 into an AMAZING car. I sold this car for Mr. Granatelli in October of 2009 with the only 1400 miles on it at the time.
