2003 Chevrolet Impala Police Interceptor126. 00 original miles3. 8L V6 with a NEW Automatic transmissionBlue cloth bucket seats with rear bench seatWhite exterior with working spot lampI purchased this car about a year ago for commuting long distance to work but after I purchased it I pursued another occupation so I no longer need it. When I bought it I changed all of the fluids and did a complete tune up on it. installed various gaskets to stop oil leaks. nstalled a new oil pump due to low oil pressure at idle. The motor started this when I was at home of all places when thelow oil pressure light came on so I pulled it into the shop and diagnosed a worn oil pump. I removed the valve covers and oil panand didnt see any evidence of this being a problem to the longevity of the motor at the time I caught it. It makes excellent pressurenow with the new pump. I also replaced a swaybar end link. rear trailing arm. the boots on the steering rack and cvt axles. The interior is clean and basic as a police car is. the drivers seat was swapped with a light gray seat at somepoint before I got the car. the a/c does not work but I believe it just needs recharged. The exterior has a couple of dings and scratches but nothing major. he tires are fair and will need replacing soon. brakes are all about 75% around the car. the previous owner had a new transmission installed500 miles before I bought the car but didnt provide me with any warrany info but it is through a local reputable shop in town. I have put maybe 1. 00 miles on itin a years time and get around 23 mpg in town and closer to 30 on the highway. Its a great running. low mileage car that will go two or three times this many milesto go before it will be tired. I do drive it time to time into town to keep things lubricated and moving so mileage may go up alittle. Call Andy with any questions about it at 417-230-5138.
