Description

Fantastic and sexy 1967 Camaro SS/RS ( probably not a true SS ). the car has had every nut and bolt touched or replaced during the extensive restoration. Pictures don't do this car justice. I have a folder of invoices totaling over $40. 00 in receipts for this car. The only thing not done was the paint. I was going to have it painted but I chose to keep the price lower so you can see any bodywork that might need to be done instead of covering it up. At some point the rear quarters have been replaced but everything else appears to be original ( hood aftermarket ). All new wire harness and fuse panel. The interior has been redone with newer front seats from a 2002 Camaro and redone to match the correct time period of 1967. Seatbelt harness kit was also added instead of the lap belt system. Tilt wheel was also installed and a new speedometer cluster. All chrome is above average shape. All new brake lines. fuel system including the tank. The engine is a new ( 15k miles ) ZZ 454 HO from Summit racing with 475 stock HP. Yes it has aluminum heads too. edelbrock intake. holley 750 dp carb. the TH200 automatic master rebuilt with 2500 stall has a lockable torque converter and the push of a button tied to a customized 355 geared 12 bolt rear end. Full frame welded. nbsp; New tires all around and 4 wheel disk breaks. upgraded suspension ( Detroit ). car stops. starts. drives. and everything works. the biggest difference between my car and others is I do have all the receipts and can back everything up I say in this ad. Car is mostly from Texas so its been dry and protected from salt roads. This car needs nothing. fly in ( VPS or PNS ) Destin / Fort Walton Beach. Florida ( Panhandle ) and drive it home. In town I get 12 mpg and traveling interstate at 65 mph I get 17mpg. If you need any other pictures just let me know and I will get them for you fast. My Camaro is financed at my local credit union so I apologize the title will be released upon payment in full to release the title to you. I will try to help any way I can to make the process easy for you. Feel free to have an independent person check the car out too. This car is always garage kept!!!. Car is for sale locally and I have the right to cancel auction at any time. Thank you. . Please have finaces in order before submitting an offer. On Jan-20-15 at 18:50:15 PST. seller added the following information: I have a few people ask what my reserve is. Although I like the idea of a true auction I will say that the car will SELL for more than $25K but less than $35K. I will not say what the exact number is but your only wasting time if your bids aren't in that range. If you need any other info or pictures just ask. On Jan-24-15 at 12:22:36 PST. seller added the following information: to clarify some questions that I have been asked. The hood is still in primer the way you receive it when you buy one. its all metal. not fiberglass. The rear end is a 12 bolt moser 33 spline eaton posi ford axle bearings ( $2305. 00 ) Detroit speed tubular lower control arms. new steering gear box. nbsp; stainless brake lines. all new brake and fuel lines too. transmission is a 2004-R CZ. there is a door ding on the front passenger fender. typical paint chip here and there minor scratch here and there on car. There are no cracks in the glass. all windows go up and down normally. all door felts and rubber seals have been replaced. The carpet has also been replaced. Horn and windshield wipers work so do the electric headlight doors perfectly. If your wanting a Barrett-Jackson car then I suggest you go to Barrett-Jackson and buy one. The car is NOT numbers matching and you would know that because a 454 was not available for a Camaro in 1967. neither was a 4 speed automatic with stall 2004-R transmission among other obvious items that are on this car. The engine does NOT have 475 HP as I had mentioned earlier. according to Summit racing it has 440HP ( my fault for the bad info on that ) if you want to call or text me with any questions feel free. 850-225-7216 JIM
