Only 24 examples of this #24 Monte Carlo, which was designed and modified by Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington, North Carolina, were produced to celebrate the career of NASCAR great Jeff Gordon. As the winner of three Winston Cup Series Championships before 2000, Gordon was already a very well-respected driver with an ever-growing fan base.
This car, the 17th of twenty-four examples produced, shows just 1,017 miles on its odometer and has never been in the rain. As a Monte Carlo SS, it comes fully loaded with every option available, including a power sunroof, an AM/FM stereo system with a CD player, air conditioning, and power doors and locks. Furthermore, the car features numerous cosmetic upgrades over the standard V-8 Monte Carlo. All 24 examples were finished in Gordons iconic rainbow livery and festooned with his race number, 24, on the front bumper, sunroof, and embroidered on the seats and dashboard.
