Description

I've owned this car since 2005 and it is a three owner car. The first owner had it about two years and the third about 6 years he commuted from Miami to Orlando to see his Girlfriend while in Law School. I purchased it with about 131. 00 miles on it and cosmetically restored the car at the time when I retired from my job (keep busy project). The car received paint. carpet. and seat covers. The original top gave way in 2010 and was replaced with the correct top and material costing 2. 00 at the time. The car is one of 2612 30th Annv Convertibles and was part of my Camaro collection. 67RS. 77 Z28. 78 Z28. 79 Z28. (2) 82 Pace Cars. 20th Annv 87 Iroc Convertible. this 97. 2002 35th Annv and 2011 Indy Pace Car 6 speed. I've sold off a few cars over the last couple of years and moved back to Corvette's now that my children have grown. From a mechanical maintenance standpoint I've replaced the GM Opti Spark with an accel after replacing the original GM one (it was defective failed almost immediately). The waterpump was done at the same time. the catalytic converters have been replaced and the original transmission was rebuilt in 2005. The car now as slotted and drilled rotors with new pads. Some of the pictures show the car with Chrome Z06 wheels they have been removed and the original wheels have been put back on the car. I no longer have the Z06 wheels. The car has been well maintained as part of a collection of cars that was driven on a regular basis on nice days. It is a very clean car. with a solid driveline (engine and transmission are original to the car). The engine pulls strong all the way to the redline. The rear was replaced under dealer warranty and it has a clear car fax report that I can e-mail it to you.
