Car was restored from the ground up.

Body - All rusted body parts have been replaced, ncluding: Driver and passenger side floor pans(front and rear), oth seat mounts panels, nner rocker panels, river and passenger side front frame rails complete, river and passenger side aprons and shock towers, ore support, ower cross member, driver and passenger side lower cowl panels, river and passenger side inner and outer wheel houses and quarter panels ( full quarter panels installed at factory joints), ail light panel, river and passenger side trunk floor panels and extensions. The original body I started with had badly rusted rear frame rails and spring mount areas, o I found a rear clip that had good frame rails and rocker panels and used those to replace the originals. I found a good used hood and deck lid to replace originals. Replaced the lower portion of original fenders. Replaced a couple of areas along bottom of both original doors. New gas tank and sending unit. New trim, irrors, eals and weather strips. New bumpers, ew grill and emblems. Original gas cap and hubcaps.

Engine – overhauled engine including new bearings, istons, ings, iming gears and chain, il pump. Replaced valves and valve guides for use with unleaded gas. New carburetor, uel pump, adiator, oints, lugs, ondenser, lug wires, tarter, olenoid, attery. New exhaust system, owever, he donut gasket at exhaust manifold has started to leak a little.

Drive train – Added front disc brakes and rack and pinion steering, ebuilt shifter, eplaced bearings and seals in rear end, ew universal joints, leaned and inspected transmission, ew clutch and throw out bearing, ew drum brake parts, ables on rear, ew brake line throughout, ew master cylinder. The clip that holds the speedometer gear in place on output shaft of transmission is not holding gear in place. So currently the speedometer does not register the correct speed. I fixed this once but I think the spring clip must be weak or the plastic gear is worn, o one or both of those may need replaced. The rear end has a slight howl and I believe it needs to be properly shimmed for gear clearance to eliminate that noise.

Interior – New seat cushions and seat covers complete, ew head liner, ew dash pad, ew rear window deck cover, ew carpet pad, ew carpet. New speakers but is missing radio. New visors and rear view mirror. New glove box compartment, ew blower motor, ew control knobs, oor handles, indow cranks. New door trim panels and arm rests. New door locks. New window track guides.

I finished restoring this car in 2006. I kept it in a garage until the last 3 or 4 years at which time it has sit mostly outside. Car was last licensed in 2010 and has approximately 500 miles on it since the restoration. Since it has been sitting out in the sun and weather, he carpet has faded, ainly on the center hump and there are some flaws in the body’s finish. These flaws include the body filler at the quarter panel factory seams on the sail panels. The filler has shrunk and cracked on both sides. There is a vertical crack in the filler directly above the rear wheel opening on passenger side quarter. I think this may be caused by water getting under the paint from the quarter panel seam crack on sail panel. Filler has also cracked at driver side A pillar factory seam and around the antenna on passenger side fender. I noticed there are a few small areas crazing in paint on roof and top of fenders, ood and deck lid. These are all cosmetic but new owner would want to get the areas repaired to preserve the car.

Car was originally purchased as a project car in Clinton, O.
