Description

I am listing my 2002 True Blue Metallic SALEEN Mustang. It is an S281-SC (supercharged) and is #528. There were only 835 total Saleen Mustangs built in 2002. Only 242 were actually like this one (coupe/supercharged). And who knows how many were actually this color? What I am trying to say is SALEENs are rare cars people! Most non-car people won't even know the name, ut they will love the way it looks and sounds. Trust me, eople ask questions all the time ---- Car has been kept in my garage from Day 1. I actually knocked down a wall in my garage to make it bigger to help accommodate the purchase. The car is basically bone stock. I am the 2nd owner. I bought the car 19 months ago with only 4063 miles. To my knowledge, he only "aftermarket" product on this car is an SR Performance short-shifter and the white cue-ball shift knob seen in the pictures (goes great with the white faced gauges). I installed them myself. That is it! ---- For me, he car was a getaway. Something to drive on the weekend and cruise. I put just over 6000 miles in 19 months. Drove it only on sunny days. Since I've had it, ar has seen rain 4 times and one of those was the day i purchased it. I bought it in Franklin, N and drove it home ---- The car is an attention grabber, o if you do not like stares or talking to people, his is not the car for you. Car has a nice soft rumble when going through town at low RPMs, ut if you want to make noise, t definitely will do that too. The car was professionally detailed by Knox Details in August.Don't know what type of polish they used but the color is still very deep and unbelievably reflective. Gorgeous-gorgeous-gorgeous color. After every wash, used Meguire's Ultimate Quik Wax when drying the car to help keep the shine and feel. Love the slick feel. For thepast year, have been putting +104 Octane Boost and Lucas Oil Fuel Treatment into the fuel about once a month. I only put 92 or above in the car as is, o the octane boost isn't a necessity but thought it couldn't hurt. I still have 3 bottles left that will come with the car. Also, have a soft cotton car cover that will come with the car ---- I did NOT abuse this car in anyway. The interior is spotlessly clean. The backseat was never used. When the car got the slightest bit dirty, t was washed. When the fuel got to half a tank, fueled it up. This car was babied ---- Have any questions, lease email me. I will get back to you asap.
BASIC SUMMARYThe "Good"- Its a gorgeous car- The sound and power- The suspension- 13" front brakes- The rarity of the Saleen name- For collectors, ar has original Pirelli P7000 tires.- Car cover- 3 +104 Octane Boost bottles
The "Bad"- 2in hairline scratch passanger side rear (picture)- 2 small scuffs on bottom of front bumper (picture)- Boost Gauge works sparingly (loose wire, guess)- Small parts of chrome flaking off wheels
