I have a 5th tire (not the donut) that comes with the car. It has a reasonable amount of tread remaining (see photo).

Here are its qualities:

  • I am the only owner

  • Car is very spirited and lively – for the mechanically sensitive, he compression is very strong!

  • Brand new Water Pump & Timing Belt (Sept 2015 – See Receipt & Old Parts)

  • Non-smoking

  • No oil leaks, or does it burn oil

  • No rust, ajor dents, r gouges

  • New tires (under 10k)

  • New front windshield (2014)

  • Tinted windows

  • No tears in leather

  • Dashboard is mint

  • Unused original mats

  • Orange pipe stitching in flawless condition

  • The paint is in fantastic shape – a fine-grit compounding is all it needs

  • The power windows work

  • The power sunroof works

  • The heated seats work

  • The heated mirrors work as well as their motion adjustment

  • The power locks works (well sometimes the driver’s side has a bad hair day now and then)

  • The cruise control works

  • The Variable intermittent wipers work

Here are the known issues with the car:

  • AC not working, owever, t has a new AC Behr compressor (2013) I am told it needs a clutch for the compressor.

  • Center Console - hinge is broken

  • Multi CD Changer not working – last I used the CD, he player worked fine, he changer doesn’t

  • Front grille has a crack – I snap it in, nd after a while it pops out.

  • Has a silver driver’s side mirror replacement. I still have original if ya’ wanna’ swap mounting brackets

  • Check-Engine light is on - I pulled the code.

    • P0420 is an O2 sensor, ut doesn’t specify. I’m guessing you can do a little more digging for info, ut I bet this info is fairly accurate, s I pulled it from the “New Beetle” forum.

  • Missing 2 “hub” caps – the little center things…

  • Small water leak somewhere – the rear floor mat, n the passenger side gets wet. I use the car so little (less than 100 miles per month) I hadn’t noticed this the last time I advertised the vehicle. What’s odd is that the interior roof is bone dry (I went out in the car the last 2 rainfalls).

  • 1 Plastic AC/Heater Duct doesn’t adjust well

  • Driver’s side power lock is Bi-polar; it works when it feels like it.
