The 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo S was destined to be a collector car from its inception. It was the very last of the air-cooled 911 Turbos. It was made available only through Porsche’s American distribution arm. Production numbered just 182. To differentiate this Turbo S from the standard 911 Turbo model, ower was increased by 24hp to 424hp through a 6-Speed manual transmission with all-wheel-drive. Porsche enthusiasts will recognize a ’97 Turbo S immediately by its exterior features which include the Aerokit II front and rear spoilers, xtra air inlets in front and rear, ellow brake calipers vs. the standard Turbo’s red calipers, urbo S badging, nd 18” wheels with a unique polished look or painted to match as in the case of our fine example. Inside, he car is unique as well. What isn’t made from carbon fiber or painted to match is instead expertly covered in leather. The instrument cluster, teering wheel, hifter and brake handles, oor panels and door pulls are made from carbon fiber.
