1984 RX-7 GSL-SE sport coupe

This is a one owner California car which was purchased new and shipped to the San Francisco bay area. It was owned and cared for by an adult male who was a car enthusiast. The car was impeccably maintained during the course of its life and services were done at intervals ahead of factory recommendation. In 2006 After the owner passed away, he car was stored in a garage away from the elements. In November 2016 I have purchased this car from the owners daughter who was selling the house where the car was being stored. I am also an enthusiast and . I own another nearly identical example if this same car.

This car is 100% original including body, paint, xhaust system, nd interior. It has never had any paint or body repair. There is no rust anywhere.

Upon purchase all fluids were replaced. New fuel, attery and spark plugs installed., A new nippondenso fuel pump was also installed along with an updated factory replacement engine oil cooler. (the original cooler was leaking). No less than 20 hours were spent cleaning and detailing the car revealing its near perfect condition and present state. The vehicle was driven to ensure it operates to factory specification. The clutch does not slip or chatter, ransmission shifts smoothly and is quiet. The car is 100% complete besides the front splash shield under the radiator and the rubber strip along the perimeter of the metal sunroof. (the strip was removed by the owner when the car was near new as it improves appearance, nd avoids debris accumulation around the edges.)

The Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE is the last version of the original Mazda RX-7. (FB) It was offered only in USA for 2 model years in limited numbers and differs quite a bit from the other RX-7 versions. The major upgrades over the GSL model include., 1.3 liter fuel injected engine with 6 port variable induction system, 35HP/133Torque, mproved exhaust system, larger limited slip differential, nd rear axle shafts, mproved 5 speed manual transmission larger clutch, larger vented brakes front and rear, arger wheels and tires. Upgraded suspension bushings, nd shock absorbers.

This particular example has EVERY option available including the rare speed sensing power steering. Both glass and steel sunroofs are included.

The interior shows nearly no signs of fade or deterioration. There is no odor, nd no stains on the carpets or upholstery. The car was never smoked in. The leather seats and door panel inserts are original and have not been dyed or refinished. The leather is still supple considering it is 32 years old.

EVERY option operates as it should including the original power antenna and air conditioner. The exterior finish shines and presents itself better than most 5 year old vehicles.

This vehicle is already considered a collector by many. Though the mileage may be higher compared to other examples, he condition of this vehicle is far above the rest.
