Up for sale we have a 1949 Chevy Pick Up. This was the second year for this body. Not a lot changed from the ’48. The truck we have has had a lot of changes with an LS Engine and Air Ride. This is not your grandfather’s truck and it’s sure to turn heads. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd heartbeat of the Chevy, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Pick Up. The body is laser straight with good lines. When they built this truck they replaced the bumpers as well as the grill. The tail lights and other trim was also replaced. New windshield seals and glass as well as new rear seals were also installed. When you look at the bed it is also new and has been raised to accommodate the air ride tank, umps, attery and fuel tank. The body is covered in the Cranberry Red Metallic paint that is slick with a deep shine with good attention to the jams and trim. The final exterior touch is the new set of American Racing Wheels 20x10 in the rear and 18x8 up front that clear with the body up or down.

Next, e will take a look at the interior of the ’49. On the inside it’s all new and done in Tan Vinyl. The dash and metal trim is done in the same color as the body. When you look at the dash they upgraded the instrument to Omega Custom gauges and vintage radio. Also, t has a Chrome Tilt column and a custom wheel. This truck also has vintage heat and a/c. The controls for the air rid are conveniently ran so that it can be hidden in the glove box. To keep you safe new seat belts have also been added.

Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a 5.3L Vortec LM7 Engine with a 4L60E Trans. It’s sitting on a S10 Frame that has been changed to a 4 link in the Rear. It has Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The air ride is AirLift Perormance 2500 Bags and V2 Management. As we said the fuel tank is in the bed and it has a new 60Lbs fuel pump in it.
