Up for sale is my 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - 140700 Miles - 1064 Idle hours
Car has factory order code 720A-POL INTR 327 - True police model built by Ford Motor Company.

This car was originally ordered by Philpott Motors in Port Neches, X and purchased by the City of Austin, X. This car was ordered through an option list and was not a basic dealer lot car. Once purchased by the city, t was used as a narcotics car for one driver. While the car was purchased by the City of Austin, t has been in use throughout the city as well as surrounding counties in cooperation with the local sheriff's. It has not been beaten down like your everyday patrol car. While this car has been used in stop and go traffic, t has mostly seen highway and interstate use. The exterior of the car has not had any emergency lighting or decals installed.

The following paragraphs will describe the condition and performance of my car:
Exterior:
Car has paint code (YG) Medium Titanium Metallic. Overall, he paint is just excellent. This car has NEVER had any type of markings or decals and the finish is just beautiful. You can usually tell if a car has been marked even if it has been buffed - There is a night and day difference between unmarked cars and cars with decals. There are few dings here and there, othing that is big enough to pick up on camera. There are almost zero scratches on the body - very clean and well kept. This car has spent the majority of its life in Mid Texas and it shows - NO RUST AND NO PAINT PEELING. The undersides of the doors and fenders are spotless. This car does not have the typical quarter panel rust from the rear doors banging against them. C-pillars, nner wings of the fenders and inner wings of the quarter panels do not have any paint peeling. There is ZERO fading on this car. Paint is just bright. There is a 1" in diameter half circle slit on the right side of the rear bumper from backing into something.This car has NEVER had a lightbar so there are no holes drilled the roof rails and there is not a giant hole in the roof for the wiring. There are two .75" plugged holes in the trunk-lid and one .75" plugged hole in the roof. The trunk holes were from the removal of antennas and the one on the roof from an GPS unit. This car does have NEW OEM Ford headlamps and marker lamps because the old ones were faded >Be very careful as many sellers are replacing their lights with cheap aftermarket lights that fit poorly and yellow.
Interior:
Car has factory interior code (IN) Black/Gray 50/50 Cloth/Vinyl. Car has NEVER had a cage or center console. Not used for routine patrol. There are ZERO holes on the dash. Driver seat has no tears or rips, o typical hinge tear in the cushion/cover and looks new. Passenger seat is near flawless. Rear seat is nearly new and has the soft grain look from when it was brought out from the factory.The rubber floor is in excellent shape and has ZERO holes or rips. B-pillars do not have any cutouts and there is no cage ridge in the headliner. Front door panels do not have the typical pull/wear on the handle area. This car does have the factory soundoff signal red led/white dome light. It works perfectly. Trunk is very clean but has some fade to the fabric. There are two 3"x3" square impressions at the rear of the headliner from LED deck lights. If you would like a matching cloth/vinyl rear seat to match the front seats, can get one at an additional cost.
Mechanical:
This car has NO mechanical defects. It accelerates fast, orners aggressively with minimal body-roll and stops the moment the brakes are pressed. Transmission is smooth and there are no hesitations between shifts. Every change can be heard but not felt. Ride is very smooth and there are no harsh rattles when going over bumps. The suspension is more firm than a civilian crown victoria but it is still soft and plush.This car has the factory 3.27 trac-lok differential. It is a true trac-lok system with the 3.27L code on the differential tag, -spring, nd X5 code on the door jam sticker! Be VERY careful when people say their car has trac-lok - very few cars really have it. If a car has the Z5 code, t does NOT have trac-lok. Acceleration is very quick off the line and car feels as though it has more torque than cars with the standard 3.27. This car only has 1064 idle hours!!! Very very low as this car was used for a lot of driving and no sitting. If a seller does not tell you the amount of hours right off the bat, xpect is to be very high. A general rule of thumb is that if a car has more than 300-400 idle hours per year of age, t has likely seen patrol work. Be VERY careful of buying highway patrol cars as they have seen mostly highway use but the acceleration and beating those cars take is often worse than city patrol cars.
Electrical / Safety:
All electrical items on this car work as they should. There are NO defects. Every light works and every instrument works. Heat is HOT and a/c is COLD. Blower works on all levels with no hesitation. Radio signal is strong. All windows and locks work flawlessly. All dash lights come on and return to normal with the ignition ON/engine OFF and ignition ON/engine ON. There are ZERO surprises with this car. Spotlight bulb has been changed to a NEW Glass bulb and works excellent. ALL exterior lights on this car are Genuine Ford OEM parts. they have not been drilled through for strobes like other police cars. This car does have a "select" courtesy lamp mode - All doors except the driver door will activate the interior dome light. If the driver door is opened, he interior dome light is programmed to not come on.
Maintenance / Service History:
Prior to myself owning the car, t was maintained every 3000 miles by Austin, X fleet department. The city of Austin is continually ranked in the top 10 in the nation for having the best programs for vehicle maintenance. This car has had no expense spared on maintenance and it shows. All parts replaced have been Genuine Ford Motorcraft parts! Major services such as transmission fluid/filter change has been performed every 30K miles. Suspension parts have been replaced as needed.

Wheels / Tires / Spare / UndercarriageWheels have been prepped and repainted in the original black gloss. All wheel weights were removed and put back on for proper painting. Tires are new and have less than 2K miles on them. The tires are Firestone Firehawk GT Pursuit Tires and some of the best tires on the market in terms of performance or reliability. Very very expensive tires! No leaks and no plugs. Spare tire is also a NEW Firestone Firehawk GT Pursuit tire with no road use. Undercarriage is near spotless on this car. No RUST and no grease/oil build-up spots. All aluminum and stainless steel is in superb condition. Exhaust is nice and clean while the trailing arms and front cross-member are spotless. Frame rails are clean and rocker panel paint is just as clean as the body. This car does have the bumper deflectors found on LX models and a steel skid plate at the front of the car. All VIN tags are in place such as hood, enders, umpers, oors, runk-lid and quarter panel. This car still has the original Engine sequence sticker on the timing cover and the original VIN sticker with date code on the rear of the frame. There is an immense amount of paperwork that comes with the car such as: Title, ill of Sale, 0+ pages of maintenance, arFax and warranty paperwork on many Ford parts. Original manuals will also be included with the car. I will also be including the title from the City of Austin to show its true history.
Anyone is more than welcome to bring a mechanic if they wish to inspect the car. Car is located in Mount Vernon, H (45 Min NE of Columbus, H). If you would like to fly in to Port Columbus International Airport I can pick you up and the car can be received on the spot.
If you are unable to get to me I can easily deliver this car for a fee that is less than what a typical shipping truck would charge. Medium Titanium metallic cars are VERY hard to find in good condition and even harder to find in an always unmarked state! Once this car is gone, ts gone!

If you are new to the Ford Crown Victoria and are not sure of what specific things to look out for, have made a list of the common hidden aspects that many sellers will not disclose:1. Paint peeling on c-pillars, nside fenders, nside trunk lip2. General paint peeling (Typically found on cars with white WT, ilver JP, mokestone HG and blue DX paint.3. Rust under rocker panels and inside fender lips4. Patrol cars will always have 2 or 3 holes drilled throughtheroof rail under the moulding forthe lightbar bracket. These always rust and most people never know because the holes are covered by the molding. A major issue waiting to erupt.5. Steering box leak - Typical on most cars but no leaks on this car.6. Nearly all used police models will have the driver seat tear at the hinge! This car has additional padding and no tear.7. Almost any car in the salt belt will have corrosion under the door seams. Be very careful as this is more common than people think and most dont notice until after they have bought the car.
