Description

This car was bought in 1998 from local chevy dealer with 30k miles on it from a lease turn by a family member. It has been owned by someone in the family ever since.
We have held onto it long enough and it is time for it to go. It had a few years on and off where it was mostly garaged.
It spent most of the early years on ocean front property and this is the main reason I am selling it like this and not fixing it. The underside shows the salt damage as well as where the roof meets the top of the windshield. It is quite rusted out.
This is a good donor car for engine, ransmission, ear end, computer/wiring harness for transfer to another camaro or car. I had the transmission done by a well known local shop here called Palm City Transmission back in 11 at around 153k. At the time I wanted to keep the car around longer.
A/C compressor is dead but the rest of the system works. Interior is on the rougher side.
Takes a little longer for the engine to fire over than normal (starter is strong). Fuel pump and filter was done last year (seems like low fuel pressure at first start, r something to the effect) once it fires it's fine. It sat for quite almost a year with just regular cranking and Seafoam in the tank along with some fresh gas added now and again. I would expect the engine needs a complete fuel system flush, leaning, njector clean.
Abs and low water lights have been on for years.
There is a hidden hitch on the car too.
Hard parts themselves are good, o knocks or valve rattles.
This is a great moving parts car.
Oil pan leaks. But as expected the hardware would be pulled and all gaskets refreshed and small parts gone through before transference.
IMPORTANT!
I had the PC flashed few years back to remove the egr and air pump system from the car! This pc must stay with this engine, r an engine without those systems intact. I removed them all and put a blocking plate between the egr uptake tube and the intake manifold. This is something popular for transfer of the equipment to another car.
Runs, rives, ut overall the car is rough. The only accident is the one on the pass rear that you can see. Small dent at tail light, as rear ended sitting in a turning lane.
The car is sold as is, did my best to explain it all. This is NOT being sold as a driver. It *could* be with some work. Fix a/c, ilicone the ttops in, hange radiator and do oil pan. Over the years the car has been very reliable. I am done playing with cars, ife changes, o here it is.
The car is listed locally as well so I will pull it from here if sold. If you want to come see the car, have no problems with that, ust contact me. You want it shipped, hat is all on you just needs to be done within the 7 days of auction end, long with the final payment.
Thank you for looking!
