1973 Datsun 240Z S30 Fairlady W/ Z Therapy Carb Upgrade

JMJL Hello. /p> Up for sale is my 1973 240Z. I have had it about a year. Car was purchased originally in rough shape. I have sourced parts and completed the car to its entirety to the best of my abilities. This is a daily driver. 15 miles one way to work and 15 miles back. It is driven for work purposes 3-4 times a week. Car was on a Z Club run last fall to Taos. Round trip was over 300+ miles. Car ran and performed great. Lights have been upgraded to HID. which make a big difference. Carbs Z Therapy Carbs installed last October after a 2 month wait from Z Therapy. These carbs along with the MSD were the two best upgrades done to the drivability of the car. Z Therapy has a unique roller ball shaft upgrade they do which eliminates air leaking from the throttle body. Work is exceptional. and carbs are tunable and run better than when installed new. This was a $1. 00 dollar upgrade. I am currently running car with no air cleaner. but original air cleaner is included with sale of car. I have come across another 73 which will be a new project for me. that is why I am selling this car. Vehicle has a 160 degree t stat. was starting to set car up for SCCA Autocross. These cars are a blank canvas for speed. with many upgrades and options available to make them go fast. corner on rails. and stop on a dime. Next step for this car is upgraded suspension and bushings. Interior is in acceptable shape. but that would also be the next area of focus. There is a small rust spot on the passenger floor board about the size of a ¾ folded dollar bill. Easy cut out and weld in plate can be done. I have repaired many Z’s on this passenger side. and with simple welding skills. this is an easy job. I just have not gotten to it yet. There is no visible rust in the other problem areas for these cars – door area by rear wheel. battery tray. rear hatch deck. This is a great little car ready for the next step in the restoration process. I have set a reasonable reserve. and hope to see the restoration project on this fun little car continue.
