Description

Up for sale is my 2009 manual transmission Dodge Challenger SRT8 in B5 Blue. For the 2009 model year Chrysler manufactured only 343 SRT8 manual transmission Challengers in B5 Blue; 265 were sold in the USA and 78 were sold in Canada making this a very rare car. Those production numbers were provided to me by a contact within Chrysler engineering. Since I have owned the car car I have seen only one other 2009 SRT8 in B5 Blue. That was at a car show at the Chrysler museum (I have seen several R/T models and several 2010 models). I have made some modifications to the car but it can easily be returned to 100% stock if desired. I have kept the original parts that were removed and those go with the car. Following is the list of modifications:Sequential rear turn signal lamps. MOPAR cold air intake autographed by SRT head Ralph Giles. Diablo Predator tune kit for increased engine performance. Horsepower and torque were both increased. Magnaflow competiton cat back exhaust system. MYGIG navigation radio. I also have a complete set of replacement wheels and tires with the tire pressure sensors from a different SRT8 that are included in this sale. I am the original owner and the only driver since I have owned the car. It has always been kept in a garage. has been driven in rain only 3 times and has never seen snow. During the winter the car has always been stored in my garage with a car cover. The vehicle comes from a smoke free home. I have all service records. MSRP window label. build sheet. other labels and hang tags that were with the car. sales brochure and dealer sales binder. The car has been driven as it was meant to be driven but has never been abused. Spirited driving but no burnouts ever. One issue has happened in the five years I have had the car. When I put the car on the road this spring I noticed the left front tire was badly worn on the outboard edge. I took it to the dealer for an alignment check and they found both the front and rear was out of alignment. I had the dealer align all four wheels. No parts were needed to be replaced to bring the car into alignment spec. Note that the tire should be replaced or you can use one of the extras from the set that goes with the car.
