Description

Dodge 1992 D350, E package club (extended) cab. 4 wheel drive. Desirable 1st generation 12 valve Cummin's engine. 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. (yes, he OD works) Equipped with AC, yes, t works fine) and cruise control, yes, t works) 4 wheel drive/transfer case works as it should. AM/FM cassette. White and Silver exterior, ray interior with captains chairs and fold up jump seats in the back. Headliner molding is cracked in the front corners (see photo). Small tear on drivers side seat (see photo). I'm a non smoker and the truck does NOT smell, owever there are some burn marks from a previous owner on the fabric trim on the doors. Sliding rear window. Dash is in good condition, o cracks. Drivers door handle is loose.(see photo) Tilt steering wheel. Power locks. Factory running boards and factory hood bug deflector. Goose-neck ball in bed. 276,064 miles. Clear title.
This truck is NOT/NEVER WAS my daily driver. Usually used to haul light loads from the lumber yard for my personal remodeling projects. Or if the road was really bad in the winter I'd drive it to work. So under utilized. I just always liked this body style-dually combo. Never really needed a 1 ton...I believe I'm the 3rd owner, ut I have never checked "car facts" or what ever to find out for sure.
Truck is in good restorable condition. Some light surface rust (see photos) here and there. I haven't found any areas that are rusted through. I think a light sanding and some touch up paint would take care of 99% of the finish issues. If I were to keep the truck that would be my next project. Some minor dents in the cab. (see photos) and some larger dents in the box, bviously from shifted loads (previous owner.) All could be repaired by a good body guy, specially if you removed the box from the frame. New rear aftermarket fenders. They are duplicates of the originals EXCEPT they do not have running lights. They seem just as heavy as the cracked originals I took off. Grill and inserts are cracked as well as one mirror. Equipped with power mirrors but neither work. These items are all available from vendors on E-bay. Floor is solid. Tailgate needs to be replaced. Large dent as seen in the photos, yes, previous owner) I've always been told it would be impossible to repair. It opens and closes but the latch doesn't work and to open you have to lift up on the toggles on the inside of the tailgate.
My mechanic tells me I have a minor oil leak at the front crankcase seal which is the only mechanical issue I know of. I only had to add oil once (less than1/2 qt) on a 1000 mile round trip to a friends place, o I don't THINK it's too bad a leak.
Note that the power window motors are slow (but work) and will eventually need to be replaced. Door window weather striping is brittle and needs to be replaced. 4 speed automatic transmission shifts as it should, hifts and accelerates smoothly.
I have owned this truck for about 11 years and had the following work done; I have most of the receipts.
Injector pump rebuilt (2005) @252,614 miles

I'm confident a buyer could drive it home anywhere.
This list does not include routine oil changes, ilter changes, ront/rear end flush and fluid change as well as transfer case service.
This is a very reliable, reat running usable truck as is, nd with some time and money could look like new. I'm out of both.
Sold as is.
