Description

Cruisin Classics is proud to offer for your consideration this beautiful example of American muscle car history in the form of a 1970 Dodge Super Bee. This is a numbers matching, ighly documented super bee that has been authenticated by Chrysler Corporation as being #19 of 599 built. Documentation included with car will include the original broadcast sheet, ender tag decoding sheet by Galen v. Govier, etter from Chrysler corporation verifying this car to be #19 of 599 and complete owner history. The car was built at the lynch rd plant in Michigan and is equipped with original numbers matching 440ci 390hp Six Pack engine (e87), riginal a833 4-speed manual transmission with 18 spline input shaft and Hurst pistol-grip shifter (d21), .10 Dana, uper track pack, ower disc front brakes with factory hemi booster (original) all original rust free sheet metal with one repaint in 1977 in correct single stage enamel fe5 red, lack c stripe, riginal black bucket interior found to be in very nice condition with only a couple of minor flaws (see photos), riginal black vinyl top with no evidence of rust or bubbling, 5 painted steel wheels with new correct Goodyear f-60 Polyglass GT tires, ndercoated when new including trunk floor. Carbs recently restored by Holley's custom shop, resh flush and fill of all fluids. All gauges, ights and switches work (except for tic-toc-tach, bviously). Original jack is still in trunk (correct replacement trunk mat). Correct date coded exhaust manifolds, ew date coded hemi mufflers, orrect reproduction h-pipe and tailpipes (non-chrome tip car). Vintage electronic Mallory distributor is the only deviation from stock. After the repaint in 1977, he second owner parked the car with 47,000 original miles on it. It was eventually sold to a man in Cleveland in 1989 that took it to, nd sold it at Auburn where it was purchased by a Columbus Corvette dealer. In 1991 it was sold to a local gentleman who added it to his static collection. Purchased in 2000 by current owner, t was driven for a few months and again relegated to storage. This car has led a very pampered life and only traveled less than 2000 miles in 35 years. It has never been shown, isplayed or featured in any article, he next owner will have the privilege of displaying this Mopar for the first time. This car now has 49812 actual miles and has never been restored or disassembled so as nice as this car is, t is not perfect. While this car would be a winner at any car show it does have 49812 miles ( all fair weather miles of course) while the engine compartment is highly detailed the undercarriage is not (although completely rust free). This car is a wonderful driver with no rattles or squeaks and has incredible power on demand. This is a car that you can improve upon the details, f you wish. What you cannot improve upon is the provenance. What makes an investment grade vehicle? Matching numbers, ow miles, ocumented owner history, orrect condition as delivered from the factory. This car has all those things. While this car is not the car to take first place at Autorama, t is a blue chip investment grade opportunity that you can enjoy as it increases in value.
