2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup, 4x4 – 4-Wheel Drive, 4-Door Crew Cab, Dodge 4.7 Liter V8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission w/Overdrive, Hydraulic Brakes, Spring Suspension, Air Conditioning – Heat - Defrost, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, AM/FM/Cassette Stereo, GVWR - 6,650#, GAWR Front – 3,900#, GAWR Rear – 3,900#, LT285/70R17 Tires, VIN: 1D7HU18NX3S277900, 228,606 Miles.

This pickup until a week ago was owned by a road and bridge department – government agency in our neighboring State of Louisiana which is about 90 miles from our location. It was used as a crew work truck since new in 2003, has been worked out of, is beat up and also has major engine issues! We purchased the truck directly from the government agency along with several other items, not from an auction, dealer or broker, simply turning this one into cash. After purchasing we put a battery in it, cranked it up, realized it had some engine issues so loaded it on a trailer and hauled back to our location. When you put a hot battery in the truck it will crank and run but is puffing white smoke out of the tail pipe, seriously puffing white smoke out of the tail pipe – look at video, we believe it to have a bad head or head gasket, it is not mixing water with oil or oil with water but is obviously losing water through the exhaust, it will also push water back out of the radiator reservoir when the cap is off, further has a belt and tensioner/idler off, we were told the bearing in the idle tensioner was bad. We did not run it any longer than minute or so but did run down the road real quick and made sure it shifts out and brakes work. As stated earlier it is also beat up, banged up, seats torn, just old rough work truck with some wore out tires, buy it to repair or buy it for parts, other than that what you see is what you get~ We are selling the truck with a clean-clear title and bill of sale, it will crank up, run and drive with a hot battery but is not roadworthy and has engine issues, you will need to haul the unit or have it transported to your location.
