Description

Hello,

I have decided to sell my 1997 Ferrari 355 (manual) in Rossa Corsa / Tan. Mileage is 36,036.

The reason for selling is I have other projects currently and it just doesn’t receive the consistent driving it deserves. I purchased the car about two years ago from a local person with a Ferrari collection. I have documentation dating back about 10,000 miles and the first owner. A three ring binder including everything purchased for the car right down to some polo shirts! Ha! I can also provide a Carfax from when I purchased the car.

General:

-Clear title in hand

-Vin and service records available to serious buyers

-All tools including covers and tire inflation compressor

-Clear Carfax (no damage or accident history)

-All manual in leather pouch

-Only one key fob unfortunately

-Battery tender

Extras:

-Tubi headers, Tubi exhaust, Hyper Flow cats

-HRE 18” aftermarket wheels

-Brembo Big brake kit

-A very high end stereo (I know I know) including Bluetooth and a flip up touchscreen

-Gruppe M carbon fiber air intake

-Rear challenge grill

-New floormats

-Red led lights in the engine bay (Another I know I know) Ha!

-15 mm wheel spacers

-front bumper skid pads

-(I have removed the aftermarket steering wheeling wheel for the stock wheel)

Service Summary:

-All service records dating back to first major at Ferrari of New England in 2001.

-Hyper flow cats were done in 05 along with Challenge Grill.

-Tubi exhaust and Brembo brakes done in 05.

-HRE wheels installed in 05

-Tubi headers installed in 06.

-The list goes on and on until present.

Exterior:

-Very nice exterior - I would rate 8 out of 10

-Paint is very nice with no major scratches or imperfections. (There are some scrapes under front bumper)

-Wheels are polished under the plastidip and in nice condition. Easy to remove plastidip.

-New center caps and valve stem caps

-The fabric on the top is very nice with a little wear on one corner

-All glass is original and in nice condition. One small rock chip in windshield

-Shields are in nice condition. One has a little adhesive poking out which I was always just to afraid to mess with. Easy fix.

-Side windows are tinted

Engine Bay:

-Engine is clean and free of any major leaks. I have never seen a drop on the floor.

-Valve covers show some wear but overall in pretty nice shape.

-Gruppe M intake is in perfect condition.

Interior:

-Interior I would rate 8 out of 10

-Leather is in nice condition and still gives (the smell)

-Drivers side bolster shows some wear

-No major leather shrink with exception of glove box which should be addressed

-Carpet does not show much wear and is in good condition.

-No stickies

-New floor mats

-Flip up stereo receiver and remote. All speakers must have been replaced as it is and amazing sound system. Sub box in the trunk

-All electronics and buttons function as they should. Occasionally a sticky driver’s side window switch I would replace at some time

-Seats work as they should

-The top operates as it should

-HVAC system works well

Mechanical:

-Car starts and runs very well. I do have a CL light which the dealer said is due to Hyper-flow cats. I have cleared the light but it seems to come back over time

-Clutch engages and works well

-Brakes work great!

-Battery pigtail installed and battery tender included

-I have an extra filter for next oil change

-Replaced pulley for alternator last year

Known Flaws:

-Some scratches under the front bumper

-Last major done in March 2012 at 31,459 miles so will need to be completed soon

-Due for an oil change

-CL light if you so choose to address

-Drivers side bolster in you want perfection

-Small rock chip in windshield

-Glove box leather shrinkage

Summary:

-This is a very nice driver car. I have confidence I could jump in and drive it anywhere. It starts as it should, drives at it should, and looks great! The car has had many upgrades over the years and any issues have been addressed. I hope it goes to a good home and to someone who appreciates it and drives it often! Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks!
