Description

I have always wanted one of these old body style 7. 3 power strokes. I have looked at dozens of them and they are usually rotted away or just worked to death. This truck was an exception. is it perfect. not even close but it was nice enough for my fussy self to buy. I purchased this truck off of the original owner on 12/28/2014. I have all the original paperwork. even the window sticker. She used the truck to pull her horse trailer and the yearly trip to their second home down south. It was stored in a quonset hut which is basically a 3 sided domed building. I bought the truck to drive for the winter so I could park my new F450 Platinum dually in the garage for the winter. Turned out to be a great idea considering all of the snow we had. I no longer need this truck so its time to sell it. Im going to list all the things wrong with it just so there are no surprises. I'm not trying to hide anything. Not even going to spray bomb the whole frame with black undercoat like everyone else seems to do. The truck speaks for itself. I'm VERY picky and these are all of the things that I found wrong with it even though its almost twenty years oldHeadlights are a little cloudyWindshield has a cloudy/white spot on the upper left drover area. Not in line of vision at all. Its along the moldingCarpet could use a professional cleaning2 small rust areas over the rear tires above the wheel molding ( very common )drivers rear tire blew out and bent the bottom of the bed inboard under the front diesel tank fill. Not really noticeable as original owner didn't realize it until I pointed it outpassenger tail light area. paint is chipped. she backed into a tree on her propertythe supports on the running boards are rusty/rottingleaks a little oil. but most of them doSome scratches here and thereNow I will list all of the good things that made a picky guy like myself buy it. Orignal ownerNo rips or stains on the interiorNo cracks or things screwed to the dashSteering wheel is like new. usually they are all peeled up and have a cover on them. Low MilesEven though it has those 2 small rust areas its solid everywhere else. No rust on the bottom of the fenders. doors or cab corners that are typical for these trucks. 4 new tires. new brakes. oil change ( when I bought it )Oil pan is not rotted at allI have put 3. 00 miles on this truck and it runs/drives great. It may not be perfect but I can guarantee that you will be hard pressed to find another one in this condition for the price I'm asking.
