Description

Your bidding on a 1959 F100 Short Wide bed in really good shape for the age. Its all original and in running and driving condition. 223 inline 6 cylinder motor starts right up and doesn't blow any smoke, dometer shows 951 miles, hich I doubt is original, ut who knows, t was a farm truck. 3 spd on the column shifts good and transmission has no issues and drives through all gears going down the road. Brakes are original drum with newer brake shoes and it stops good with no leaks. I've driven the truck to local cruise-in a few times and gotten up to around 50 miles per hour in it with it still feeling safe and solid although being all original I would not be going on any road trips until I upgraded a few things. Tires all hold air fine, ront two have some weather check, ear are fine. Glass is all good with exception of drivers window has a few cracks but will not break since its dual pane glass, oth vent windows turn in and out fine, nd both side windows crank up and down fine. Door handles work and lock. Gas tank was flushed when I got it, nd I only put non-ethenol fuel in it. The patina looks great on this truck, s you can see in the pictures the truck is very straight, ever been in a wreck, ll original, ith your typical spots of rust. I've had several of these old F100's and have seen much worse when it comes to rust. The floorboards have some rust where cab mounts are, nd drivers side lower rear cab corner has rust through, s well as rear bed lower corners. LMC sells patch panels for all or these common rust areas. I bought this with intentions of a full restoration, ut have several other projects and am just trying to get my money back out of this one. Has a lot of potential, r left alone, ould make a great farm truck, ruise-in, r photo prop. Buyer is responsible for shipping, would not recommend driving this truck a long distance. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours. Truck is listed locally and I have the right to stop the auction if it sells locally, o if you really want it, would suggest buy now option, on't wait.
