Description

302, on the tree, ower nothing. Runs good. It's all original and complete, ith the exception of a few rust holes. All original numbers matching drivetrain, 15k miles. This surviving early bronco is unrestored and untouched, ith the exception of basic repairs. Fresh fuel tank, uel lines, rake lines, oses. Runs, rives, rakes, nd works! Cranks on first try, eat works, ipers work, ocks work, indows work. No smoke, o misses, o difficult gears, uns great. Seat covers are to protect original parchment (whitish, ual-texture) vinyl, assenger side is flawless, rivers side has ripped seat bottom. Have original rear seat (no rips, lawless) and spare tire carrier.
It sat for 10 years, ot running, n a shed before I found it and began to revive it. culprit was the timing chain gear (OEM Ford had plastic teeth). I made the following repairs:new all-steel timing chain and associated front end seals, leaned oil pan, eplaced oil pump/shaft and new sealsnew fuel tank/ linesnew hard brake lines (stainless steel), lushed/bled, erified function of brake hardwareserviced carb (rebuild and tune)plugs/wires/coil/ pertronix ignition module (can put points back in anytime)
Questions about rust...
Rust is limited to a few body panels. For complete repair and restoration needs: Rear fenders (just patches?), ocker panels, ailgate, atch for inner front fenders. The cowl, oor jams, oors, loor and all other sensitive spots are clean. Surface rust on hood. Never any collisions.
Issues...1. Front tie-rods or kingpins are wornout. It's perfectly driveable up to about 35mph, obbles at higher speed. Fairly easy fix.2. The tires that are on it are not fit for the road. They're old, old air, nd have some tread, ut they're not fit for highway service.3. Needs wiper blades, nd possibly a light bulb or two.4. Needs latch rods for the tailgate.
I have a set of 5, actory ford steel wheels (hubcap style), 5x7, ainted black, ith tires (hold air, ood rollers, 35-75).Or the pictured white wagon wheels, et of 5, 5x8, 0x9.50 (also good rollers, ut not roadworthy)Your choice, ust let me know which you prefer.
I have a truck and trailer to haul it with. If the auction reaches a certain amount, r buyer is willing to pay for gas, can offer personal delivery, therwise, uyer is responsible for pickup.
