Description

Traditional hot rod build by Jimmy Shine from So-Cal Speed Shop.


All steel body chopped 4 inches. Original 1930 fuel tank with stock gauge cluster.
Added oil pressure and temp. gauge to lower left side under dash. Model A frame boxed, Z" 4 inches and stretched 8 to accommodate 1930 transverse leave spring.
Equipped with 1956 olds rear end with split wishbones. Transmission is a 350 automatic. Engine is a early 327 large rod journal bored to 350 cubic inches. 3 stromberg carbs with progressive linkage. Dropped I beam front axel with transverse leaf spring with So cal wishbones and so ca shocks front and rear.
History: front axel,engine trans and rear end was taken out of a 1932 sedan that appeared on the cover of hot rod magazine in 1960s. the sedan was owned by Louy Center. The coupe was feature in the last zz top video "I gotsta get paid".
