1955 Ford F-100 Truck Waterfall Blue - RESTORED

1955 Ford F-100 Truck. My son is selling his truck that has been going through an extensive restoration process.
This Ford F-100 truck was built in Long Beach and was stored/protected in agarage in L.A. for over 35 years. Serial plate indicates the truck was produced on June 17th, 286, roduction # 18699.
Original Details Include:
Paint - Waterfall Blue body color, nowshoe White wheels. and black running boards are true to the serial plate. Tailgate lettering hand painted.
Upholstery - Reproduced Saran covering,the woven material originally used on the bench seat. The Saran was custom fabricated based on the original color factory brochures… this is not an aftermarket kit often found. The sides of the bench seat inappropriate pattern and color vinyl. The headliner and kick panels are covered in gray cardboard. Appropriate driver-side visor only.
Engine - 223 cubic inch Ford inline 6-cylinder "Cost Clipper" 118hp engine rebuilt by Jim Grubb Motorsports in Valencia, a. a reknown performance engineering shop for custom, nique, nd high-end engines
Transmission - 3 speed on the column ("three-on-the tree") Rebuilt transmission, eplaced clutch, ear axle serviced. Surprisingly good low-end torque for a 6 cylinder engine.
Electrical System - 6 volt electrical system. 1955 was the last year before Ford converted to 12 volt system. New electrical harness throughout the truck, ewhorn, volt fully functional searchlight that is controlled by hand, river side, ith on/off switch. Windshield wipers functional with new motor, ew arms and wipers.
Tires - Firestone 6.00 16" bias-ply ("tube") with pie crust edge.
Wheels - 16" painted in Snowshoe White with chrome Ford center caps including matching spare tire.
Bed - Refinished Oak wood with painted Waterfall blue metal strips. Tailgate " Ford" lettering hand painted, ot decals.
Glass - New windshield (front & rear), river & passengerwindowsand side vent/wing windows.
Trim - Replaced door handles, mblems, indow trim and casings, eadlight rings, amp; lens covers.
Fuel System - New tank and fuel sending unit, ocated under driver-side of cab interior to the running board.
Suspension - Rebuilt/replaced shocks, prings, rakes, ear-end, tc..
Serial Number - F10D5L F10=F100 D=223 CID 6 cylinder (inline 6) 5=1955 L=Long beach 19699=Production Number.
