Description

This 1930 Model A Ford is a true barn find. We purchased this car from a farm owner in Southern Indiana - this car had been stored in his barn for years. This car is an incredible time capsule that you can drive anywhere.

The car starts, uns, nd drives great. The engine is an original "Banger" 4-cylinder flathead with a 3-speed manual transmission. There are no issues with the engine, ransmission, r cooling system. The car is still on the original 6-volt electrical system and has a new battery in it. The mechanical brake system is all intact and stops the car very well. These cars are a joy to drive.

The body is all Henry Ford Original steel except for the rear decklid and rear panel - they are newer reproduction pieces (they were missing from the car when we purchased it). The car is extremely solid and has amazing patina/time worn paint. There are two rust issues - the rain gutter onthe driver and passenger sidesof the decklid is rusted away toward the bottom of the decklid (you can see this clearly in several of the pictures below). The floor panel in the trunk was missing when we purchased the car, o we fabricated a new panel (replicating an original) - you can also see it in several of the pictures below.

The interior is in very good condition for a car of this age. The pictures basically speak for themselves. The canvas top has a few holes and tears in it, ut that just adds to the provenance of this hot rod. All of the glass is in the car and the windows roll up and down. The headlights and brake light work.

We have the clean and clear Indiana title to this car.

If you are looking for a cool original style barn find hot rod to cruise the town in then this is the car for you!
